Obligatory complaint that I don't see why he needs to fight if you are aware that his stats are inaccurate.

Why is Ortega's striking so ****ty when he may not have Max's boxing hut definitely has some of the best striking in the featherweight division? He should have at least 90 91 for his striking stats and muay thai level 2

His striking isn't bad at all. You're focused on numbers and you don't utilize his tools.

One move or two isn't going to change the fact that you will use him the way you use other people.

But on the topic of Ortega, he needs a Heel Hook from Sub Top Mount, he tried it against Max in Round 3 or 4.

Yeah vs frankie edgar and clay guida. The problem is ortega plays like Damian maia when he should play more like Nate diaz because he boxes people's ears iff till they shoot. You never see ortega constantly going for the clinch url. The man has great a great kicking game. He goes for lots of dutchies all the time. If your a fan if him like I am and have actually watched all his fights you'd know. He deserves more respect in the striking department

Didn’t they remove the sub mounted heel hook option from all fighters in UFC 3? I don’t recall seeing it since using Lombard in UFC 2.

Last night in the post fight presser, Izzy said 2 things about Yoel...

-1 is that Yoel uses the 52 blocks. Which he does, and it's awesome.

-And 2, that he is 98% defense.



Yoel "The Statue of God" needs like 100 block. Should have crazy high blocking and defense. Has literally just stood still and tanked shots from Whittaker, Rockhold, Izzy, etc.



I don't even care, I love Yoels style.

Some unique 52 blocks animations would be insanely cool too, but I doubt we would get it.

Lemme add to this, he has been phenomenal in LW, and has shown good power in LW as well. The loss to Felder was a GNP loss.

His bottom game is criminally underrated in game for somebody that HOLDS THE RECORD for Subs in the UFC, and tonight + his past few performances have shown how fluid he is off the back.

Bottom Game/OTB to 94
Chin to 90
