Haha, I just mash right my right thumb and move the stick with my left. I use my left thumb of blocking transition attempts too.Comment

Not really knocking those that use them, but I don't see how it makes the game better.Jackmouve | PSN | [email protected]Comment

Re: OS Official UFC Undisputed Strategy and Help Thread
in most real life fights, you mostly just never know when a fighter is fatigued, you can take a guess based on what you have dished out, bujt a meter floating in the air telling you when to go in for the kill?
Not really knocking those that use them, but I don't see how it makes the game better.in most real fights, the other fighter knows when a guy is fatigued. I don't care who doesn't want to use it, but you put yourself at a disadvantage NOT using it. Especially online where I fight 90% of the time.

Re: OS Official UFC Undisputed Strategy and Help Thread
It would be cool if they patched it so it was automatically off for online games or only allow you to see your own stamina. I think it's kind of wack to know exactly when you should be attempting a submission. That takes the fun away for me because there should be some sort of risk/reward involved. If you get flipped over and end up in a bad position that's just the way it goes sometimes.
I mostly play online and I don't feel like not using it has put me at a major disadvantage. I have pretty much as many submissions as KO's, and when I do get subbed myself it's no biggie becaue it was usually my own fault for getting caught.Comment

Re: OS Official UFC Undisputed Strategy and Help Thread
I know its in the thread somewhere but the thread is HUGE. How do you block clinch throws. People kill me with wrestlers online, getting slammed all the time. Also how do you hold someone head down when in the defensive guard? any help would be appreciated.
add in: I often fightr guys who I cant moved on te ground at all. they seem to block every transitions. Is ther an automatic block attempt?Last edited by Benz87; 05-28-2009, 12:31 AM.Green Bay Packers | Milwaukee Bucks | Milwaukee BrewersComment

You need to get into an over under and then do a regular transition block. You will end up in side control when they try to throw you. If you get throwed from double underhooks, you need to flick your stick in the opposite direction they are using to throw you. If they press left on the stick to do the pick up and slam, you need to be pressing right to do a counter into a guillotine choke. I usually just try to get into over/under position and then transition block.Comment

Honestly, only fought him once with my toon. And one kick to the head...one...KO. 10 seconds. Got the achievement and everything.
It was hysterical. Lucky for sure, but just so funny because I was all nervous like it was gonna be a marathon.PSN: JISTIC_OS

Re: OS Official UFC Undisputed Strategy and Help Thread
Ok it's official my ground game sucks and since that's the way I prefer to play it's kinda pissing me off. I got this game 2 days ago and in exhibition I win 10% of the time if I'm fighting guys who are around the same rating as me.
What signs do I have to look at to know when to do a minor and then major when the opponent has me in full mount. I wanna play online but since I'm getting my *** handed to me by the AI on advanced on the ground I think it's pointless. Once the AI gets me in a takedown he always gets me in full mount and if I somehow get out half the time he has my back and then goes back into full mount. I can block when I'm in side mount but eventually I always end up back in full mount and game over.
I went straight into advanced, does it help to fool around with experienced? Does that help to get better or does staying in advanced and taking your licks offer better training. I know the moves pretty well, just can't seem to pull them off with any consistency on the ground.
I just really wanna know when is the right time to do a major transition when you're in full mount. Where's the window to do it? I can do the minor and grab his head but to get out is a bitch. How do you avoid ending up in full mount when he takes you down because I'm rotating that stick and it's not helping .Comment
