I have a stupid question that I seem to have missed in the tutorials on the game. When you have a downed opponent who is stunned, how do you rush in to start dropping bombs? I cant ever get there quick enough before the CPU stands up and its starting to irritate me. I run over there but he throws a punch like the guy is standing instead of pouncing on the guy on the ground, any tips or advice? I guess I got 2 other questions as well, whats the easiest way to get out of a clinch? Is it just to hammer on the striking buttons and hope he pulls away or is there something Im missing? Lastly, when you are on the ground and your opponent doesnt want to engage, how do you stand without having to wait for them to stand you up? Other then these questions Im still having a blast with the game.

I haven't looked into it too much but it seems like BJJ fighters really don't have much going for them when they have double underhooks. All they do is fall backwards. Since they only go in one direction, it's really easy to block that takedown attempt. Am I right?Comment

I don't think you can directly, but there is a guillotine from the sprawl, and wrestlers have one from full guard - down. The wrestling slam can also be countered into a guillotine. In the clinch, flick the right stick in the same direction as your opponent to counter the slam.Comment

OK - so I've been frustrated trying to get Sub of the Night to get the achievement of having all 3 "of the nights" in one career.
What you need to do - is throw no attacks. I decided to go ahead and try it like you get the World Class Grappler achievement, and it worked just fine.
I've done it twice in a row now on Expert and I've gotten the Sub of the Night both times.
So give that a shot if you're having trouble getting it.Comment

Its a quick acknowlegement or type of respect given. mostly at beginning of fight, but if there is like a low blow or something unintentional fighters will touch gloves to ackowledge itComment

Re: OS Official UFC Undisputed Strategy and Help Thread
how do you stop someone from putting you in the rubber guard? Also, I notice when I am on my back some guys will get right above me where they can punch my face but I have trouble getting them off. THey are basically standing right between my legs, and my legs are up. How do I get into this and how do I stop it when they do it??My Fan Page http://theusualgamer.net/MyFanPage_Heelfan71.aspx

Re: OS Official UFC Undisputed Strategy and Help Thread
i read thru everything and it seems very helpful but then when i go and try it myself i still get beaten. when i first had the game i was what i thought was doing good but now i feel i forgot everything. i can make someone tap and i know how to do the different clinches. but my issue is when someone get me on the ground for the life of me i can get out. and im using guys that have great gound defense. so i dont know what im doing wrong. i know you guys say move the right analog stick clock wise but it dont work. when do you use the l1 button and rotate or do you just rotate?Comment

Re: OS Official UFC Undisputed Strategy and Help Thread
What i did when i was struggling on the ground was i'd play and practice with a BJJ guy or a Judo guy because they both tend to have the best transitions (imo) off the bottom.
Another thing you can use to get up is some submissions from the bottom (like the guillotine for wrestlers) usually results in your opponent standing with you in the butt scoot position.
Also it never hurts to look at the action list in the pause menu.As Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"Comment
