    Uhhhh....

Actually- you might recall some controversy after the Griffin/Rampage fight. Many people scored that fight differently than the judges, and Dana was fielding questions about an immediate rematch left and right at the post fight presser. It's not like I'm some crazy person dreaming this up. Prior to 'Page's mental breakdown- there was almost nothing but talk of an immediate rematch.

As for 'Pages breakdown- he was still able to rebound and got himself an impressive win on the exact same card as Griffin's first title defense. He was obviously ready in time.

What about how until like 10 seconds left he didn't let Tito touch him? Machida doesn't get taken down as easily as you think he does.

He has kept every other fighter off of him. I guess we will see.

And I'm saying that you're far too reasonable and intelligent for me to be able to have any fun talking to on an internet forum.

I hear you - I think Rua will be KO'd , not calling a round - 2 different classes and a major mismatch IMO , I will definately not be ordering this fight - I will however be betting on it -

I do kinda like the way boxing does it though to give the champ a shot after he loses the title, kinda wish that they did it in UFC but whatever

This is a great main event. I can't understand how people aren't happy with this matchup.

Machida will be a huge favorite, but you can't disregard Rua's past. The guy had cardio problems and injuries when he first got to the UFC, but he dominated in Pride and it seems like he's getting closer to his old self. I think Machida takes it, but other then Rampage, who else is more deserving the Rua?

I'm rooting for Shogun, as he's one of my personal faves, but it's hard to imagine this one going well for him. I fear it's going to look a lot like the Thiago/Lyoto fight.

Rampage's return fight was on the same card.

Most of Thiago's win weren't against quality oppponents IMO.

He was screwed out the title when they gave it to Forrest, but it doesn't appear to be eating at him that much. I think that was such a hectic time in his life that he's just taking things as they come.

I agree 100% about Rampage. After they stole his belt he seems to care about making money and ending grudges. I think you are right about Thiago too, when you crush people like that it sticks in the head more then a split decision.

Oh- I'm plenty happy with it. It's not like we have reason to believe that 'Page would do any better against Lyoto than a healthy Shogun will.

The only guy that I think could give Lyoto a real run for his money is Anderson, and we already know that fight's out of the question. I think the guy's going to have the belt for a good while.

BJ Penn, the best BJJ fighter in the UFC maybe, had Machida on the ground and couldn't do a thing.
