People greatly under estimate the punching power of Anderson Silva. He hits very hard and has dropped tough fighters like Dan Henderson before.

Yeah I thought Forrest would have lasted at least to the second round but oh well. To be dropped 3 times in very short time would crush anybody's spirit.

I really want to see GSP vs Anderson Silva now. I think GSP can easily fight at 185. That would be a great fight.

Now Florian.......good lord just got out classed by BJ Penn. BJ Penn can bang when he really wants too and just not a BJJ guy.

That's exactly what I said at the bar. Total Roy Jones Jr. Silva is just a cut above anybody. He rocked Griffin while falling backwards! He's amazing, he's almost bored out there.

Apprently Silva has been training in the Matrix with Neo.
Not going to say anything about Forrest until it's known what exactly happend.

I blame KenFlo losing on his hat getting stolen. He was keeping his Samurai Spirit in there and that dood stole it so he didn't have it when got in the cage.

Hopefully Huerta will be able to beat Penn with a big reach advantage. If he gets a shot.

LMAO...Forrest didn't give up. He got the sense knocked out of him more than once. The only thing that could have come out of more fighting is permanent damage. I'm glad the fight didn't go on any longer. When replays are out, take a good look at Forrest's ankles when he gets dropped that last time. My man had the rag doll physics going and everything.

Anderson has done this to everyone who strikes aggressively at him. That's why Cote and Leites just sat there and stared at him rather than fight.

            Explain Forrest running away.

The dude gave up. Plain and simple.

Unless he had some broken bone or a sever concussion or something of that sort, Forrest went against everything he stood for. He said he'd never get broken, and I believe he was broken (by definition).

There's a rumor going around that Forrest left with a broken jaw. I'm not sure if there's any truth to it.

If that's true, then I'm a little more all right with it. I mean, I'm pretty sure you can tell when your jaw if messed up. He ran out of the arena so fast, I feel like there HAD to be something wrong with him.

That being said, I hope Forrest mans up at the press conference later.

I saw it live and thought it was absolutely pathetic. You dont run out the ring. You stand next to the fighter while he gets his hand raised and you leave with some class. Never seen anything like that in MMA.

One quick KO of their fan favorite and Silva is once again cheered. Such frontrunners, enough to make you sick. My guess is Dana schedules Griffin-Bonnar 3 to guarantee one of those guys gets a win.

The fans booed him because he was going against Griffin not because of the last 2 fights. Griffin was a huge fan favorite. Florian got booed too but that was just becaiuse he was facing Penn. Now they did boo Leites because of his last fight.

Just a heads up but the post fight press conference is available online now for those interested. Im watching it now and of course the first question was about what happened with Griffin and Dana said he hadnt seen him since the fight and didnt know where he was. White blamed it on Forrest being an emotional guy and pretty much left it at that.

It makes sense. If he really felt he needed medical, you can't really blame him. Still, it doesn't seem like something Forrest would do. He's the kind of guy I could picture with a broken arm and just hanging around, still giving an interview.

Like I said previously, I hope an injury was the reason he sprinted from the cage after the fight because it was a weird thing to see.

Eh, if you feel like your jaw is broken and you can't hear out of one ear, you're going to be trying to get medical attention ASAP because at that point you don't know how ****ed up you could be. I'm not down on Forrest or anything, I mean, Silva would do that to like 99% of Light Heavyweights in the world right now.

Late to this thread, but Amir got jobbed. No way should that have been stopped, he wasn't taking any of those punches while he was trying to get up, they were wild and not connecting.
