Unless Cain/Dos Santos ends round 1 we won't see that fight because there's a high chance that it goes 3 rounds.
It will be a FB fight. Fox is banking that the HW fight won't go 5 rounds and they will need filler. Guida/Hendo will be a high action fight that they can throw on Fox if the fight goes short.

Wow they're gonna put it on FB? Wow

I don't care either way. I do actually hope it airs on Fox though.

yea they should have at least said they were definately airing at least 2 fights. You want to pull in a wider audience by having it on FOX so why not give more than 1 fight? Oh well, i'm still pumped we're getting this title fight for free so i can't really complain. Just seems like a missed opportunity to draw people in.

They don't want to risk running into the Pac fight and thats why the only announced one fight.

Dana White: Facebook Fights to End in January, All Fights Will Be Televised
            http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2011/9/19...fights-will-be

Interviewer: One thing we've noticed recently is the Facebook fights. Is that going to continue with the ongoing Fox deal, or is that going to go away with the prelims and all that stuff?

Dana: Yeah it will go away when the Fox deal starts, which is in January. Because all that programming now, I mean the reason we did the Facebook fights was because nobody could see those fights. So we put them up on Facebook as an option for fans, because we always love to give more fights. But with the fact that Fox wants to pick up all these fights, they'll be on television now.
Hopefully they don't end up on Fuel.

I get it on Dish but SD only which I'm to the point of that being just as bad as not having it at all.

Hopefully the Fox deal will get Fuel HD on all the providers since they'll actually have programming people want to watch now.

I agree. I think they might air on FX, I thought Fuel was for reruns of stuff like Unleashed, ultimate knockouts, etc.

There might be a chance some (more than 2) will air on FX. They said its happening in January, which is after college football season ends, so you won't have any PAC-12 night games on FX, leaving it open for UFC fights, unless they would rather show Live Free or Die Hard or Bad Boys 2 for the 1237th time.

I know. I hope they do. Showing all the fights for free on Facebook just seems so much easier though.

FOX wants to get more money for FUEL, they will most likely do the same thing that CBS did with TrueTV and March Madness and put stuff on FUEL because FX already is established.
