Exactly. Who would Fedor fight on this card? He's lost 3 out of 5 so he doesnt deserve Cain, JDS or Mir. Big Foot destroyed him. He's beat Hunt.

Fedor isnt worth the headache M1 brings at this point.

The good thing is that this is an all HW card so they can just move the fights around. Mir's won 3 in a row and 4 of his last 5 so give him a shot at JDS. Move Nelson up and have him face Cain. Find another HW to fight Big Foot.
Just move Shane del Rosario up to fight Big Foot.
I wonder if Dana will cut him though, considering he also is due for 3 months in prison.

Pull Werdum from his fight against Mike Russow, place him against Cain for #1 contender.

Problem fixed. Card isn't as good, but salvages the card without doing too much reshuffling.
I do like this, BUT JDS already demolished Werdum, noone is clamoring for that rematch.

Yes, JDS obliterated Werdum, but keep in mind Werdum clearly underestimated JDS. That fight was designed for Werdum to get a highlight reel win on his way towards a championship fight, but unfortunately JDS uppercutted Werdum's head into the fifth row.

I'm not saying Werdum would win a rematch, but you can sell him on a #1 contender fight with Cain. Werdum is a legitimate top 10 HW, probably top 5 come to think of it.

I agree, and they do need someone to step up for Cain if Mir does indeed get the title shot.
I wish they would just bring Barnett over and have him fight Cain.

First Diaz tests positive for weed and now Overeem for roids. Who would have guessed? A lot easier to get caught when you aren't dealing with the incompetent CSAC every fight.

It seems like the dream match-ups that we hoped for when Zuffa and SF joined forces are panning out like we had hoped.

Re: UFC 146 May 26 Overeem vs. Dos Santos

Overeem screwed over the UFC and the fans. I feel bad for the fans that bought tickets/flight/hotel to this card because of Overeem.

He even told White and Fertitta he was clean. He should be and I expect him to be cut. Overeem is an idiot and he just lost about 1.5-2.5 million because of this. At least we got to see him fight Lesnar.

I thought Mir did enough to earn a title shot after breaking Big Nog's arm and now it looks like he's going to get it.

Edit: How's this for a replacement......... Dan Henderson. You could make it a non-title fight and promise Hendo even if he lost, he would still get a crack at the MW or LHW belt in his next fight. If you have a twitter account, send this suggestion to Dana White.

The CSAC is without a doubt pretty incompetent, but their drug testing is actually more stringent compared to the NSAC. Overeem got clowned on the randomness of it; I would've bet that he would've, without a doubt, passed his test on fight night. Of course, CSAC or NSAC wouldn't matter here anyway since the 'Reem's levels were too high.

The 'Reem won't get cut. He'll appeal this, buy some time with asking for his B sample to get tested, then try and concoct some excuse. In the mean time, just elevate Mir into the title fight. Sucks but what can ya do?

I too would actually LOVE to see Hendo vs JDS. I don't think Hendo would win, but that fight would be amazing for however long it lasted and would further add to Hendo's legacy, win or lose.

If Hendo gets the fight, I don't know how Dana would not make it a title fight. That would make no sense if it wasn't.

As it is, I'm sure Mir will get the shot.

So is Reem completely out of the picture? Does the positive test mean he was doping for the Brock fight or was he doping for 146?

'Reem was probably doping for the Brock fight. Keep in mind he had some issues drug testing for that fight too.. namely he didn't show up. This time he just outright failed his test, most likely due to the nature of the randomness of it. Ironically though, the 'Reem was scheduled to take two random drug tests as part of his conditional license..

His T:E Ratio was 14:1. LOL. The highest it can be is 6:1 in Nevada. He's screwed.

The only thing that may save him is that he didn't fail a test at a fight. He probably won't be able to fight in the US, he probably could fight outside the US, but I don't know if the UFC wants to put up with him. He was a failure waiting to happen, but up until that test he was always "clean" even though you knew he wasn't.
