Re: UFC 158- GSP v. Diaz & Condit v. McDonald 2 - Montreal - March 16
Fight will be canceled if it hasnt already as Sakara cant train for a minimum of 3 months due to kidney issues apparently and then he wouldnt have enough time to train for a fight in March.Comment

There's been a Nick Diaz sighting in Montreal, apparently he's gonna show up for the press conference today. Hopefully...Comment

Diaz's interview/press conference responses are equally nonsensical, hilarious and amazing.Comment

OK I'm watching now...
GSP explains his reasoning for choosing Diaz over Hendricks
-Said in his eyes, Hendricks lost to Koscheck. This fight is what everyone wants to see more than any other fight. Said that Diaz is the true #1 contender. Said that a big part of it was that they were supposed to previously fight. Interesting. Looking at it that way, I tend to not question this decision as much as I did before.Comment

My favorite part was when Diaz joked about Canada not testing for steroids, Dana jumps in and says "Nick, they test for EVERYTHING" and he responds "Oh, Good to know".Comment

Yeah, so what are the odds he fails a test for pot between now and fight day? Dana said he'd jump off a bridge if Diaz failed a test for pot and knowing Nick nothing would surprise me.Comment

Anybody else thinks it's a huge shame GSP is the one who has to translate everything english -> french and french -> english?
It was the same after Condit's fight: the guy just did 25 very hard minutes, got hit in the head and body, and still has to translate everything.
Damn it UFC, you're in Montreal, people speak french there, just hire a translator!
This is just unbelievable. I mean, to me, it's impossible to understand. I can't think of a single logical reason.
Anyway, I hope Stephen 'Wonderboy' Thompson will have a fight on the card. Can't wait to see him back.Comment
