yeah that was disrespectful right there, Herb didn't see it for some reason and had plenty of opportunities to stop it

Really Aldo ? you both fought a boring fight. You got a stoppage because of a unfortunate injury. Main event sucked, Aldo jumping around like he did something.
It’s easier to do the right thing, than to explain why you didn’t.

He won the fight. I'm not gonna knock him for celebrating.

Well at least Aldo admitted it just now that he saw it seperate and started kicking it lol. Just didnt seem all that respectful or in good sportsmanship but at the end of the day its a combat sport so it is what it is. Still dont like Aldo, out of all the champs in the UFC currently hes the one I cant stand at all but Im sure Im in the minority.

I cant blame him. This is a combat sport. If he didnt want to get hit in the shoulder, he couldve quit. Zombie is tough as hell though.

Not big on Aldo myself. Without a doubt he's a great fighter though.

IDK I just dont see how you could celebrate a win like that. Its almost like winning because of a technicality. He ran out the cage like he just delivered a massive k.o.

On another note, I suspect that Lamas is next for Aldo and he fights Aldo on the last Fox card of the year in Nov/Dec.

I see what you are saying. Its not a technicality though. Zombie got injured and Aldo finished him.

Yeah Aldo had the fight won, but at that point you point to Herb who for some reason missed it and if Zombie and Herb both don't stop it, then you attack it. You don't got right after it without letting Herb know he needs to stop it.

Edit: Had my first top 50 in the UFC pickem, finished #45, if I hadn't picked Magny would have been #9

My question is whats the line? For example, Barbosa fought some dude a few weeks ago and was brutalizing him with leg kicks. So bad that the guy could barely stand. Barbosa didnt stop kicking that leg even when it was clear his opponent could barely stand. The ref shouldve seen 2 or 3 kicks before the finish that the guy was done but he let the fight go on. Should Barbosa have pointed out the injury to ref?

He keep kicking it, but he also was waiting a few seconds between strikes and it wasn't being stopped so he kept doing it. If you see an injury and you wait for the ref to stop it, but he doesn't, then you have to finish it. Aldo didn't pause and went right for the shoulder with a few kicks.

Aldo got nothin else to prove at 45. But if he wants to be the most dominant champ at 45 ever I wouldn't be mad.. I prefer him to move up though

And how are people only blaming aldo? Zombie look shook from round 1 and didn't engage either
