Dana shot down the McGregor rumor. Guess it's time to move on. Jones vs. DC would be great. A GSP addition would be awesome as well.

Conor looks pretty stupid after all this IMO. I know it won't hurt his long term earning power (even though you'd have to think points from 200 w/ him would be bigger than any of his other PPV's) but I just don't see the point of going out and saying he's on 200. He looks dumb, his fans are now upset, even if it didn't hurt him, it doesn't help him any, just a dumb move.

If it really is just a troll move on his part than its, in my humble opinion, his first true misstep. Before he was messing with the UFC, with "The Man," but getting his fans hopes up like that doesn't seem to be a great marketing strategy. Then again, I don't know **** abiut marketing so maybe I'm wrong.

Regardless, I'm kind of over it at this point. I see where Conor is coming from, I see where the UFC is coming from, I don't really blame anybody. I haven't lost respect for Conor or the UFC, nothing like that. Compared to drug use/domestic violence this is nothing IMO, this doesn't make Conor a bad guy. Business us messy sometimes, I'm disappointed but I gotta move on

I would love for GSP to return but I just feel like we would have heard rumblings about a training camp by now

Supposed to be big announcement on GMA tomorrow, if I could predict the future I'd say GSP vs Lawler as main event announced.

Since I can't predict future the "big" announcement is probably the new colors for fight kits at 200.

It's just the UFC 200 promotion in NYC.

GSP doesn't want to fight because of Reebok and terrible sponsorship payments.

DC still isn't cleared, think it got pushed back a week or 2, and Jones has to get x-rays and cleared or has a 6 month ban.

Nate is going on vacation.

I think the UFC waits a few more weeks to see about DC/Jones and then brings back Conor or has to pay GSP a lot more and do something about the competing sponsors.

Whats funny about this whole debacle is the fans reaction. When Diaz/McGregor 2 was announced, pretty much everyone was ****ting on the fight and saying that it didnt make any sense (me included). Now Conor is out and people are acting as if they have been robbed of some great fight they wanted to see. It makes no sense.

I'm still of the opinion that we haven't gotten robbed of a great fight.

This is going to be funny if Jones or DC don't get cleared. Dana announces this fight knowing that the fight may not even happen. Then without a fight Conor steps up to save another card ... Conor then owns Dana and the UFC.

I agree 100%. What really surprising to me is some of my favorite well known analysts didn't understand the rematch and complained about it, and when fight got cancelled they acted upset like the fight if the century was cancelled.

I mean i thought it was a fantastic fight, Conor looked good in round one, about 2 minutes into round two Nate did his thing and it was amazing to watch. I steal don't want to see it again.

At this point the only way want to see a rematch is if it was at 155, and I'm kind of indifferent about it. Even though I don't like McGregor there is some crazy fun fights for the fans in the LW division.

I don't care to see Conor at FW anymore either, even though lots of people want Edgar vs Conor, he just looks terrible at the weigh ins. I wouldn't mind a rematch with Holloway, that rematch at LW could be epic even though Max is FW

Much happier with this rematch than the pointless Conor/Nate one.
