SaukValley.com (http://www.saukvalley.com/2012/12/28...iyb6xs/?page=2) has an article up on Alex Jones, who recently signed a three-year developmental deal with WWE. Jones is headed to Tampa this week to begin work at NXT.

Jones was working on his masters in strength and conditioning at USC when he met former WWE stars Rikishi and Gangrel, which led him to begin training at Rikishi's Knox Pro wrestling school. About 10 days later, John Cena was in town for RAW and was lifting weights at USC. Cena tabbed Jones as a potential star and recruited him into WWE basically.

Jones attended a tryout camp back in August and says Jim Ross and Gerald Brisco couldn't stop praising him. Jones told SaukValley.com:

"They all said, 'You could be our guy. Look at John Cena. That could be you.' Now, anything less than being a champ would be a disappointment."

January's gonna be packed..plus some other tidbits.

"The January 7th episode of RAW with The Rock's return and Ryback vs. CM Punk is said to be an "all hands on deck" show with virtually every major big name being called in.

- Then, WWE has the big RAW 20th Anniversary show on January 14th where they will be bringing several old names back. They may to bring back some names we don't see too often since some just appeared on the recent Slammys episode. Being in Texas, appearances by The Undertaker, Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels are likely. It's also expected WWE will make the first Hall of Fame announcement that night.

For what it's worth regarding the January 7th episode, it's said that when the show is over, "people will be talking."

- Vince McMahon is said to be in the "every show counts" mentality, both for ratings and because WrestleMania season is upon us. Every RAW show from now through the end of January is said to be stacked.

- Brock Lesnar is expected to return to WWE TV for multiple appearances in March, likely beginning in late February. Unless plans have changed, he will be building towards the WrestleMania 29 match with Triple h.

- Speaking of Lesnar, his contract expires with WrestleMania and it's unknown yet if he has re-signed for another year. WWE will be facing the same issues they do every year once WrestleMania is over with four of the expected top six headliners not appearing much if any at all after April - The Rock, The Undertaker, Triple H and Lesnar.

- Some within WWE believe that the days of bulk cuts around WrestleMania time may be over. Based on the number of hours of WWE programming and the thin talent roster, while there will obviously be cuts in the future, they probably won't all happen at once like in recent years. "

Don't do that. Instead, you need to tell her to quit being so damn annoying. My dad mentioned how annoying she had gotten and after a few weeks more of her character, I'm beginning to agree. She's getting annoying as hell.

Wow. What the hell, WWE.

- WWE and Post Cereals are expanding their marketing agreement by featuring a cartoon version of John Cena on boxes of Fruity Pebbles. The limited-edition promotion will temporarily boot "Pebbles" frontman Fred Flintstone from the cereal box covers according to a report by AdAge.com. Here is a photo of the new box cover.




A Post Cereals representative said that "Kids want more variety, and Fred isn't necessarily the coolest or most relevant guy for kids."
