The Rock really doesn't need them to give him material like that.

I would have rather them went the Raw Anonymous GM route and never mentioned SCSA getting hit, than that lame Rikishi route.

They at least coulda made him into full monster heel or something.

The Rock is now rumored to be facing The Undertaker at WM.
Hopefully that means they're not going to entirely **** everything up by having him beat Punk at the Rumble.

They can't possibly have Rock beat Punk...I mean Punk has 2390 days to go.

Really don't see much of a point in Rock/Taker aside from the star power.

It's WM, really all that matters. There was no point in he and HHH.

Who else is there really for the Undertaker to face? CM Punk would be great. That's about it. It has to be a big enough guy that they can get you to believe that maybe the Taker streak could end. The Rock and Punk are probably the only two guys you could see them possibly putting over Taker. I'm not saying they will, or that it's likely, but it's possible.

Yes there was. They had past history and it was that whole "End of an Era" thing.

That's always been the problem these past few years.

Punk is obviously the first that comes to mind, but if not him then I could see them using Cena or -- and I'm sure this is going to catch some heat -- Ryback.

Cena's in that category as well. Brock would be too.

I don't think the streak should end, but if it does then I'd rather they use it to put a young guy like Sheamus or Ryback or Barrett over then giving it to someone who's already over and established as a superstar like the guys mentioned.

Rock has never faced Taker at Wrestlemania , I'm surprised .

I thought about Ryback. But while they've built Ryback up a bit, he can't talk, and he's not a good worker. Does anyone really believe him and a nearly 50 year-old Undertaker could put on a good match? Taker is getting up there, and they've been able to mask his age a bit the last 4 years by having him go with HBK and HHH, who are both great workers in their own right.

I forgot about Brock. Cena isn't though. I know he's the "face of the company" and all, but the dude loses, like all the time. Dude has 6 wins in 17 PPV's. I don't think, unless there was a surprise heel turn, that anyone over 12 would believe Cena would go over.

The Streak has gotten so big, that it's not about the rub anymore. It's one of the matches that carries the show. So you aren't going to put Ryback in there. I don't think you're going to put Barrett in there - not yet anyway. Maybe when he's gotten to the main event. Maybe Sheamus. But it's got to be a guy who's on that level - it's no longer a feud you use to bring guys up, like with Orton. It's now the showcase, thanks to Edge and HBK.
