Hogan should beat Taker this year after Taker beats Brock.

No no. Hogan's new finisher is the toss over the top rope. So he'd win by count out.

In an update on WWE’s recent tryout camp at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, a report from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that the names listed included ACH, Arya Daivari, David Starr, Kevin Steen, Michael Elgin, Rocky Romero, Roderick Strong, Willie Mack and Zane Dawson.

The report notes that Kevin Steen and Roderick Strong stood out amongst the lot and that Strong was considered the star of the tryout camp, both from an athletic standpoint and a speaking ability standpoint, while Kevin Steen received high praise for how much he worked on his physique and how well he done on WWE’s high-endurance drills.

As of writing, there is no word as to who will be offered WWE contracts, however the company usually informs talents within 4-6 weeks minimum.

I want Strong to get a contract as I think he's a good fit for the E.

I've only seen Steen wrestle a couple of times and both were in brawl/no DQ/hardcore matches so I don't really have an opinion on him.

As for Elgin that would be interesting but again I haven't seen him as much as Strong so it's hard to say. What do you guys think?

              On Steve
              Austin
's latest podcast, he sticks to his prediction that CM
              Punk
will return to WWE at WrestleMania
              XXX. Austin said:

"I'm telling you, I'm going to stick to my prediction that CM Punk is going
to make his return at WrestleMania 30 in New Orleans. I made this prediction two
months ago here on the show.
"It's been a long time, I think he's cooled his jets, he's got some rest, and
I think it's time to get back to work. I don't see him participating in a match
but it would be great to see him in a run-in to establish himself, to entrench
himself immediately in a memorable and just a great moment, and I would say
plant himself firmly in the middle of an angle, because he would be the angle,
by attacking whoever he sees fit to attack or asserting his presence rather,
whatever the case may be. But I see CM Punk coming back at WrestleMania 30. Who
knows if it will happen. We will know in about six short days when WrestleMania
              actually happens."

Austin going out on a limb but I would have to see it to believe it
              atleast..Its not Delaware

Heyman was asked if there are any new "Paul Heyman Guys" that are ready to
break out. Heyman said he's already signed a new "Paul Heyman Guy" but wouldn't
give any more details and seemed like he may have just been teasing. Heyman was
asked if their identity will remain quiet. Heyman replied:
"Oh no! We're going to broadcast his identity and we're going to publicize
and promote it and present it and market it and make as big a splash as humanly
possible regarding this new Paul Heyman guy."<!--INFOLINKS_OFF-->

I think best case for everyone would be for CM Punk to come out and make it look like is on Bryans side after winnning the belt. Then have him turn heel and have Bryan go into a couple of month fued with Punk.

Well. Having Punk attack Bryan after the match is over really wouldnt be a major heel turn. Having him cost Bryan the match...That would piss everyone off

Yeah, I could see that, and I think Austin may be onto something. You'll notice in that Triple H video from RAW that they did not show CM Punk, which you think would've been a logical choice if they were intent on burying him.

If Punk left and WWE was not cool with it, I'm sure Triple H would've buried him by now in a promo. The fact that he has not leads me to believe they are still open to doing business with him, whether that be this weekend or further down the road.

Just a general question I'm throwing out: Does anybody want to see Punk back or have you moved on him and don't want him to come back?

I'm indifferent. If he comes back, great. If not, that's cool too. It's been just over two months and it doesn't seem like anything's really missing.

Either way. He's been one of my favorites for the past 15 or so years, but he was pretty "meh" in WWE save for a few great moments. The majority of his (and most others, so it's no fault of his) runs in WWE have been largely forgettable at best.
