I want to see him back because he's one of the few guys on today's roster that truly understands the business and how to make money. When he's engaged, you can argue that he's the most talented guy on the WWE roster. There's always room for a guy like CM Punk, but only if his heart is in it.

I'm with the others. Great if he comes back, not losing sleep if he doesn't.

Unrelated, a new Heyman guy is in the works. NXT guy? Underused Main Roster guy? Returner? Who knows.

I think that's more likely, and it's possible it might even be a week or two later. I'm sure he wants to wait until the part-timers are gone for WM season and then finish out his contract in the spotlight.

As far as whether or not I care anymore, the WWE will be just fine with or without CM Punk. That being said, the card will always be better with his inclusion. I hope he at least finishes his contract, but I'd love to see him work a lighter schedule and stick around a little longer.

          Dirt for pre/post-WM.

          - We noted before that WWE has contacted several huge names from the past for cameo appearances at WrestleMania XXX. One of those stars is The Rock. WWE also reportedly contacted other names such as Ric Flair, Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels, Roddy Piper and even Jim Ross in regards to playing a role this weekend.

The impression given is that The Rock will be on the show in some form of a cameo, but whether it's live or taped isn't known. People in WWE say Rock will be on the show in some form.

We also know that WWE pitched some ideas to Steve Austin about appearing on the show so with him deciding to make the trip to New Orleans, that could be an indication that he's accepted one of those ideas.

          - Rey Mysterio's WWE contract expires later this month and while there hasn't been a new deal signed yet, it's expected. Word is that they're looking at a deal where Rey would wrestle limited dates and spend more time as a brand ambassador for Latin America, which is really what he's been doing lately anyway.

          - WWE NXT talent Cole Andrews, whose real name is Stephen Good, has reportedly been released from his contract. He was an offensive lineman from the University of Oklahoma. For what it's worth, he hasn't been active on social media since late February.

          - The reason Alberto Del Rio pinned Big E clean a second time in non-title matches is because WWE officials are planning on having the two feud for the Intercontinental Title after WrestleMania XXX. A match is currently scheduled for Extreme Rules in May.

So i've been researching CM Punk news just because I feel that if he returned to WWE it would be a great Wrestlemania, and I stumbled across some headline about him signing with TNA and walking right out on them. I have no idea if this is an internet joke, something that may be because wwe made him an amazing offer to come back, etc. I'm at work so can't access that website but anyone know if there is any truth behind that? Also I would love to have CM punk come back to WWE. He's one of the main reasons I started watching again in the past couple of years.

No, the best thing for everyone would be for CM Punk to not even be there. I don't want to see that guy, I don't need to see that. The guy walks out because they weren't giving him what he wanted (I don't buy that burnout excuse everybody throws out there) and they're supposed to bring him back and work him into the main event at the biggest show of the year. The hell with the that guy.

I have to disagree. Who cares if he walked out because of not being given the main event. Honestly the matches, feuds, repeated Cena-Orton matches have been stale. Punk is one of the guys who truly cares about his profession, not like the part-timers who come in and collect checks. WWE has built up this WM as one of the worst billed cards in awhile. We all wanted to see Shield-Wyatt family match. No IC match, no US Title match. The tag team championship match is a joke. Kane and Old Age Outlaws is just a terrible idea. And WTH is this 14 participant Diva match.. I'd be surprised if more than 25% of the at home audience stayed in their seats to watch instead of grabbing a couple of brewskies. Only reasons I'm going to watch is the hope that Punk comes back, Bryan puts on a stellar match and wins, and it's free because I'll be over a friends house who has WWE supscription.

Punk was just as stale if not more so before he quit.

Lots of people care a great deal about the way he left.

Who are you to comment on who does and doesn't have passion for the industry. Do you know these people personally? Or do you just get your feelings hurt when people who have devoted their lives to the industry decided they can't keep up with the physical and emotional demands of a full schedule. Are you under the impression they owe you something?

This card has two matches with more meaning and emotion built up to them than most. Sure some of the undercard stories suffered in the story department but their should be a bunch of really great matches.

Plus you're not even paying for it. So technically your not supporting the product anyway. So just enjoy the free entertainment.

Yeah, he cares so much about the profession that he walked the moment they didn't put him in the main event. So give me a break with that Punk cares about the profession nonsense. There is a reason that they went back to John Cena main eventing ppvs even though Punk was the champion, and that's because unless he was main eventing with The Rock or John Cena damn near every ppv he main evented sold worse than that same ppv the previous year. There is a reason that the WWE brings back these guys like Rock or Lesnar on a part time basis. Honestly, Punk needs to stop acting like he's on the same level as a Steve Austin or The Rock because he isn't.

                      - Daniel Bryan did an interview with local 94.7 in New Orleans and said the
                      following

Bryan says he wants to begin a new era on RAW the night after WrestleMania:
"I'd like to go out on Monday Night Raw on the day after WrestleMania and
start a new era with guys who can go out in the ring and perform. John
                      Cena
                      and Randy Orton
are great performers, but so are Cesaro
and The Shield. It's time to give some new guys some new opportunities."

I'd love to see Cesaro get a push similar to the one Daniel Bryan has received the past year or two, but we'll have to wait and see if it happens. He's definitely built up quite a bit of momentum in recent months, and he can hang with anyone in the company when it comes to in-ring work.

All three members of The Shield should be upper-midcard to main event for a long time, but once again, we'll have to wait and see how things go. I'll be surprised if they aren't all pushed for quite some time though....and rightfully so. They've been great since their arrival.

Rumors that the HHH/Bryan match will go on after the Divas Invitational (after Cena/Wyatt, Lesnar/Taker), followed by the main event.

It might be a No-DQ or submission match.

I can't see how having the Bryan/HHH match right before the main event benefits anyone. If either of them walk out with the title, it makes Orton and Batista look horrible if the lose to a guy that just wrestled a match. Makes me think there will be some screwy ending to the Bryan/HHH match and putting it right before the main event is the only way to prevent another Cena/Orton Royal Rumble reaction from the crowd

I wonder if somehow the HHH/Bryan match just melds into the final match making it a Fatal 4-Way now. Seems like it's weird timing. That would also mean Taker/Lesnar would go on in the middle of the show and that doesn't seem right at all.

I don't see why they wouldn't have DB/HHH first. That way they start the show off big with a match that the crowd is into,
And pumps them up more for the main event.
