I could swear I heard something that said he left because of the move to a more kid-friendly style of programming.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Looks like the mma thing for Batista is over though. I read recently he was back up to his wrestling weight after dropping a bunch to do MMA.
Personally, I'd welcome Dave back. I wasn't a huge fan of his, but he did have some good matches, and I thoroughly enjoyed that last heel run he had.

It's Bleacher Report, the place where people like us can sign up and post about wrestling. I take it with a grain of salt.Comment

I can see it being legit, but I can also see it being what you said. I do hope it's BS though. If wrestling is in Punk as much as he says, I can't see him walking away.Originally posted by MoJust once I'd like to be the one they call a jerk off.Originally posted by MoYou underestimate my lazinessOriginally posted by Mo**** ya

Re: The OS WWE Spoilers Thread
He held the WWE Championship for over a year. He's headlined 2 PPVs with The Rock and wrestled The Undertaker at Wrestlemania ... remember, Taker nearly didn't work Mania this year but came back to wrestle Punk.
While he may have beef with creative (I'd imagine a lot of the top guys have issues with creative), there's been nothing to suggest Punk was so fed up he was going to walk away.
Again, just someone stirring the pot. He'll be back and will be on top of his game when he does return.Currently Playing:

Re: The OS WWE Spoilers Thread
Personally, I really doubt Punk was that close to quitting. And I also question the validity of him missing that much time. WWE isn't advertising him for the Europe tour or house shows but he's still is being advertised for Raw in two weeks and after. If he were taking extended time off, I would imagine WWE would just go ahead and stop promoting him for any shows. WWE could remove him at any time but the fact that the removed him from the Europe tour already but haven't from the other shows leads me to believe he isn't going to be off of TV for too long.NCAA: Virginia Cavaliers

Re: The OS WWE Spoilers Thread
WWE has now pulled CM Punk from advertised wrestlers for the next few week's Raw. So it does appear he will be taking extended time off.NCAA: Virginia Cavaliers
