Roman was basically over like a face from the end of the summer through the fall. He and Sammy did amazing work to get him back to full blown heel status. I don’t think him turning face means he goes back to being corny, I think he would stay this dismissive badass character just getting cheers instead.

The thing is he didn't "always" suck as a babyface on his own. They got him over at TLC 2015 - the "smarky" Philly crowd cheered him when he beat Sheamus - but the succeeding program (vs. Triple H) and storyline (taking on the machine/Authority) did him no favors.

Since then they never figured out a formula that consistently worked and the IWC wouldn't complain about it. To the point where people thought they were "faking" his cancer scare to garner sympathy.

I think he should remain a heel after the Bloodline ends, but how he's portrayed (corny promos) and pushed (special attraction or "super" babyface) will determine if he can continue this momentum.

It'll also be interesting how they navigate Cody as the top guy if/when he dethrones Roman. Will the IWC turn on him as swiftly as they did in AEW or nearly anyone WWE has attempted to make a top babyface (McIntyre, Rollins, etc.)?

Side note: I would love it if Drew dropped the (stupid) sword and retained the "Scottish Psychopath" moniker to become Cody's first (or second) feud. He needs to turn on Sheamus at WrestleMania, IMO.

If anyone wants to watch wheel of fortune, they're doing a WWE special this week, as in superstars are playing alongside contestants.

Also, Jeopardy had a WWE category last week.

We already knew it, but WWE confirms Stacy will be in the HOF.

Never would've thought Stacy and Torrie would be hall of famers. I'd say they had an influence on lots of young wwe fans...

Never realized Stacy was only 21 when she debuted in WWE (funny enough, I literally just saw the SD where she debuted last night, helping Test and his test..fans out), so she was only 19 when she got in WCW?

This feels like a weaker HOF class compared to other years. Guess no tag team inducted? They must really want this HOF lasting 2 hours because outside of Rey, I can't imagine anyone else having a notable length speech.

And speaking of WWE women, Charlotte on A&E mentioning some of the hate (from fans) she'd get. Among some of the ridiculous troll messages/comments she'd receive was one of the weirdest "disses" ever. "Charlotte looks like an iphone". I have no idea what that's even supposed to imply.

My cousin did some cleaning out and gave me these which I tried to talk him into keeping them. They are in bad condition still that's a couple hundred bucks worth. He said he wanted them to stay in the family and knew I would take good care of them. What's the proper way for me to say thanks and repay him? He may not take $ so I thought about not charging him for the hotel the next time we go out of town

                  Re: WWE Off-Topic

On this week's WWE Rivals, they showed a backstage clip of Reigns after winning the rumble.

An interesting takeaway was the advice Reigns got right after about the boos.

"It's not (about) this city, it's the world"

Which isn't a surprise, but typically the WWE mindset. Probably why they don't listen to specific crowds so much.

Ans Bret called Reigns vs Lesnar an instant classic.

Weird collection of talent to be panelists on that show for this feud. Johnny Gargano, Kevin Owens, Renee Paquette. This happened sometime between after summerslam and before Renee went to AEW, so it would have to be September? And Kevin Owens didn't even have a speaking moment on that show until the final 2 minutes.

I fully expect a International Wrestlemania in the next 5 years or so. For the next Canada Wrestlemania, they should troll Canadian fans by inducting Earl Hebner as the headliner with HBK inducting him lol.

                        I just don't see a Canadian WM.

It obviously would only work in a newer fully domed stadium, and with 60,000+ seats.

There isn't a venue in the country built in the 90s or later that can hold over 35,000 fans.

I definitely see a Rumble or Summerslam though. Summerslam in Toronto would be perfect but dependent on the MLB schedule. Bad weather, close the roof. Good weather, you have an outdoor show.

                          Natalya on wheel of fortune.

Natalya: I'd like to buy an O

Pat: There is one O. Now, spin, solve or buy another vowel.

Natalya: I'd like to buy the O.

Pat: The O has already been called.....

They still won the game and the finals will be Big E vs Theory vs Natalya.

Would've been fun having a new day final 3, or even just a new day episode since they were all in it anyways. They'd need more than 30 minutes to show us that game, too many outtakes.

It wasn't in the documentary, but Savage trying to pin Yokozuna at the 1993 Royal Rumble was an all-time illogical moment.

Michael Cole did an interview discussing how he has lasted 26 years in WWE, talked retirement and how he separates his personal and professional life. The thing that really surprises fans is his real name isn't Michael Cole and that itself is a stage name. His real name is Sean Michael Coulthard, so talk about keeping professional and personal life separate.

"I'm a very private person. I don't have that public persona. You're not going to read about me in the dirt sheets. You're not going to read about me on social media. I have a life away from our company and I've had the opportunity to be able to separate those things for 26 years. My wife's not a wrestling fan. She doesn't watch the product. My kids aren't wrestling fans. They don't watch the product, I go to work and I do my job and I go home and we talk about the world and not WWE. I think that's helped me as a performer and it's helped my longevity here as well."
                              Michael Cole on possibly retiring:

"People ask me all the time, 'How long are you gonna do this for?' I'll tell you one thing, you know, 30 years would be a really cool goal. That's four years from now. But I can promise you this, I will get out before I slip. I'm not going to be, and no disrespect to anyone else, but I'm not going to be a 75 or 80 year old man doing this week in and week out. I busted my ***. I made a really good living and I want to be able to get out while the going is good and still be able to enjoy the rest of my life. I don't want to be a shell of myself. I don't want to be that, 'Man, that guy used to be good. He's not good anymore.' I don't want to be that person."

During his interview on the “Sports Media with Richard Richard Deitsch” podcast, WWE’s Michael Cole said he will be calling both nights of WrestleMania 39. Cole on the Bloodline storyline: “It’s incredible. This story is the best story that I’ve been involved in for 26 years, bar none, for so many different reasons. You know, […]

Cole is like Cena. When he’s gone people will realize how good he was and will miss him a lot more than they think they will imo.
