Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Almost makes me wanna stop watching these RAWs and wait. 97 was a good year with SCSA breaking out and Hart/HBK.

Randomly watching the Raw before Summerslam 98, I was ready to wave may hands in the air to The Oddites theme song only to be disappointed by a generic theme.Mets/Giants/Knicks/Rangers/Manchester United/Notre Dame Football

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I was watching Uncensored (I think 97) and they had edited in "Break the Walls Down" as Jericho's theme. In 1997. In WCW. Why?Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
As for Jericho, I think they actually have the rights to his theme, however they never went back and fixed the stuff that they edited over the years, because I was watching one of the '96 Nitros not too long ago and some random dude had Jericho's heel WCW theme that you're talking about. They also still have WWF edited out whenever they say it on Nitro.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
No one really knows especially since they didn't dub a lot of Jimmy Hart's WCW songs except for Jericho's, DDP's and few more (maybe like 1 or 2 more). Its weird because their songs weren't dubbed on WWE Classics on demand.Mets/Giants/Knicks/Rangers/Manchester United/Notre Dame Football

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I really hate that they didn't go out and get the rights to some of these songs when they decided they were going to do this WWE Network thing. I die a little inside every time I watch Nitro on the network and DDP comes out to that terrible generic version of his Self High Five theme. Or seeing Hollywood Hogan come out to the nWo theme and not Voodoo Chile. I already know it's going to suck when I get to Undertaker's American Bad ***/Rollin' era of themes.

Might it have anything to do with his, Raven's and DDP's being nearly direct copies of Pearl Jam and Nirvana songs?Comment

Sandman is the true loser in this theme issue...

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Anyway, like I said, Jericho is the weirdest one. Because I know for a fact that his music is on the network right now. When he debuted in WCW he didn't have that music, he had a different theme.
<iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/mWM2gazwf6A" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" width="420"></iframe>
That theme is on there, he actually has that during the correct timeframe from the Nitro episodes/PPVs I've seen thus far.
But then, as I mentioned someone on one of the late '96 Nitros, I think it might have been Earthquake, had Jericho's second WCW theme that we all know and love.
<iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/9gUNsskAEis" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" width="560"></iframe>
So it's weird trying to figure out their thought processes and how they edit certain things but not others, etc.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
So during the Extreme Rules pre show they played a ad to the new shows airing the next two weeks, did anyone notice the King of Ring logo they displayed? Does that mean KOR is returning?Mets/Giants/Knicks/Rangers/Manchester United/Notre Dame Football

It looks like it's just the finals on Tuesday. I imagine the rest of the tournament is tonight on Raw.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Wish they'd just make King of the Ring it's own PPV again. The kind of crap cards they put out anyways that'd be one event that practically writes itself. Put together a tournament, the last five matches of the tournament happen on the PPV leaves you time to throw in a diva match, tag match and title match or two if you want.Comment
