Watching the 2011 season of Tough Enough. Man, Stone Cold was so good in those elimination segments. Must-see TV.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I wonder what Austin thought when seeing what did happen to those people from Tough Enough. How the person he insulted the best, ended up making it to the main roster, and people he was high on,aren't in WWE.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Watched the "Razor Ramon" debut Raw for the first time since it happened back in '96 last night. I STILL can't believe they thought that would be a good idea with the fake Ramon and Diesel thing. Though JR with the original pipebomb in WWE history was great. Much different watching that rant now as an adult that knows what I know about the business and everything that's happened since and when I saw it originally as a kid and didn't really understand it.Comment

Probably didn't give it a second thought, but it is interesting that Arianne made it to WWE after that showing. Although, if it wasn't for Total Divas, I don't think she is in the company.Currently Playing:

GTFOH, man. Y'all kill me sometimes. Of course everyone isn't gonna be liked 100% of the time. And while I do see Cena get bashed, I also definitely see him get his fair share of props. While I'm a proud member of the Cena Sucks club, I've always said how I'd love to see him and Punk main event multiple Wrestlemanias. Not Punk and Bryan but, Cena and Punk.
Smark this and Smark that. I don't even know what that is anymore. Someone who just goes against what WWE wants to do is what I'm guessing it is to most of you.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I'm not speaking to the Daniel Bryan/Dolph Ziggler should main event every show crowd here. I'm not talking about the, let's just call them the "YouTube commenting" crowd that yearns for the Attitude Era to this day. Those folks are the lowest common denominator and the more they are ignored the better it is for actual intelligent folks that have legit gripes with certain aspects of the product.
In general there are plenty of level headed, rational people both here and in other parts of the "IWC" as it were that have legit criticisms about the product.Comment

Yep, that did happen shortly before the reality show. I think that show has helped extend her career in WWE. Had she not been on Total Divas, I think she's gone after Tons of Funk ended.Currently Playing:

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
According to a source on Reddit, who in the past has given updates of content coming soon to the Network (and those updates have come true), "Expect a **** load of Attitude Era Raws to go live next Monday, mainly from 1998."
While this is good news, I really wish they wouldn't skip 1997! I so badly want to see 1997 that's not a ****ing VHS rip.Comment

WWE Network Discussion Thread
So saw this morning that at some point overnight they uploaded two more episodes of '96 Raw. I appreciate them finishing up October of '96 but really bro? Two episodes?

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
To me there are casual fans who just watch the product on TV, Internet fans who go on the forums and read rumours (which is all of us).
Now within that group, everyone is technically a smark.
However, people who I consider smarks are the ones who:
- Call people by their indy names and refuse to acknowledge their current ring name.
- hate everyone who hasn't done ROH or is called Dolph Ziggler
- make jokes instead of actually discussing or having constructive criticisms
- PG rating is reason why WWE sucks now
- says they are quitting watching but still watches every show
Those are things that I consider 'smarky'. That's the behaviour I try to discourage but I know that people can't help themselves. Like the 'Husky Harris' chanters on Raw or those crowd members that try to get themselves over no matter who is in the ring or how entertaining something is.
We are all smarks but we shouldn't be smarky. Just my take.Supporting Leeds United, Colorado Rockies, Detroit Lions and the Colorado Avalanche!

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
so the Attitude Era Raws are up 3 episodes from 1997 and all the episodes from 1998 its listed under Raw Attitude Era under the In Ring section, makes me wonder if they will upload other AE Raws over time, here's another interesting tidbit from Reddit take this with a grain of salt
i have received word from a guy whos uncle works at WWE that WWE will be uploading a full year of WCW Nitro from 1997 and Saturday night 1997-1998 in early May. Nothing is confirmed this might be a rumor.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
While it's great they uploaded a whole year's worth of RAW, I can't help but feel underwhelmed and annoyed.
I've tried to watch things in order as much as possible...I think I made it through 3-5 episodes of 1993 RAW before I gave up and realized that there's no way I can sit through superstar vs jobber matches. I have finally been able to make it through most RAW and Nitro right when Scott Hall first appears. That's a great era and I'm really enjoying the hell out of re-living it as an adult. But there's still plenty I'm not interested in and thanks to the milestones, I can skip through matches I don't care about.
With that said, I can't help but feel irritated that the Network has only uploaded Nitro through 1996 and RAW right now through October 1996. Then they come out today and upload 1998, which is awesome but it completely skips 1997. As a kid I really enjoyed both programs in 1997 and it had some very important events. I'm only in June 1996 right now but it irks me that they skipped 1997 completely in favor of 1998. I get why, it's solely marketing purposes and WCW owned WWE's *** in 1997...hopefully 1997 RAW and Nitro won't be afterthoughts for a long time.
They uploaded the last 3 episodes from Dec 1997 through January 4th 1999. I just turned on the first episode to get a sense of what's happening and it's 8 days after IYH: DX. It's just too random of a spot for me to start watching from there. Does anyone else feel this way?Comment
