Watched the sneak peak of the new Ultimate Warrior DVD/BR set that's coming out later this month. Better have a box of tissues nearby; I teared up several times watching the 20-minute segment last night. Vince's address at the beginning really was emotional and you could sense he was fighting back tearing up while delivering it.

It looks like this set will take footage from his last DVD and also have new interviews with his family and members of WWE. There'll be some matches included, too, although I have to imagine they won't be too different from what have been on previous DVD's.

      Definitely going to purchase.

WWE just gonna act like The Self Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior didn't exist, huh?

I get that they don't want to mention him, but trying to completely edit/erase him out of history seems like alot of work. You don't see NFL erasing OJ Simpson from their history or anything.

You don't? When is the last time OJ was mention by the NFL in any capacity?

Part of agreement in bringing Warrior back was WWE was going to put that Self Destruction DVD in the past and allow Warrior to tell his side of the story, which he did in his DVD last year and at the HOF. Nothing wrong with that.

I was watching a game and the commentators were talking about some sort of record and mentioned him, so it's not like they randomly mention him,but if an instance comes up like he's a record holder, then he'll be mentioned.

Well for one OJ wasn't found guilty (I know, I know). But Aaron Hernandez was pretty much wiped off of Madden and all other NFL media and they stopped selling his jersey once he was charged.

I still find that DVD hilarious.

Just start from the beginning of what WWE has uploaded, the very end of 1997. Wish they would've went back one week (Vince's cure for the common TV show promo and the Austin-McMahon confrontation over the IC Title), but what they have up still works.

I really wish they would've uploaded everything up until the tail end of 1997 before this latest dump. For me, the "Attitude Era" started before Vince's speech.

I started getting big into wrestling about the time the US v. Canada with the Hart Foundation was taking off. Want to rewatch those before getting into the "Attitude Era" RAWs that were uploaded.

That's how many of us feel. I'm finally getting into watching them in order. I started with Scott Hall's debut episode on Nitro and have been watching in order since. So I had mixed feelings about 1998 being uploaded...don't get me wrong it's awesome but at the same time it's like oh COME ON you just skipped a whole year, not to mention that 1997 was pure gold in WCW.
