Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
A new Broken Skulls with Sasha Banks is now available to watch on the WWE Network. This should be a good one, given both Austin & Sasha left the company for a bit then came back makes this compelling. I'm just surprised Austin never asked Bayley about this while she was on his show.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Austin has had her on his podcast before so I'm wondering how much "new" topics will be discussed.

I love Sasha in the ring. But I’m finding her really annoying in this interview

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
This whole interview feels like her being in character, but her heel character feels like her in real life
Edit-Im watching it now. She basically admitted it. Heel Sasha Banks is definitely her in real life. Bianca vs Sasha has to be face vs heel.
I'm surprised she said Sasha Banks was just another WWE randomized name. The old "I gave a list with some first names, some last names, and they gave me this name". I thought it was something like getting Sasha from Beyonce (her Sasha Fierce stuff) and Fresh Prince (with the Banks family).
That would've been a cooler story.
It's always frustrating hearing stories that even around the mid 10s, things were toxic. Sasha was on main roster, still told to do Santas Little Helpers matches. And apparently people still treated newcomers poorly and threw their stuff in the showers.
Say what you want about the BAD vs PCB vs Bellas feud, but seems like that actually helped alot. Sasha being "protected" by Naomi/Tamina from those catty people backstage. I'd imagine Paige did the same for Charlotte and Becky.
And the big story here, she came out about what happened after WM35.
Spoiler
It was a combination of everything. She had a separated shoulder, was upset with WWE (sounded like she didnt have a problem losing the titles, it was the fact that WWEs plan was them losing the titles with no payoff or aftermath), and mentally just checked out.
She actually asked for her release from WWE, McMahon says no (Austin's line was the best "MOTHA___ ALWAYS SAYS NO!"), he said just take 30 days to think about it, she took way longer and WWE didnt seem to mind. If not for AEW, could she have just been let go? They just lost Mox, Sasha also leaving would've hurt their womens division.

She comes off as a natural heel, both on and off screen.

I’m sure AEW didn’t help. But remember they also refused to let Paige go, she eventually worked through her stuff and came back on good terms. I think Vince and company probably just have a really really good understanding on the life and how it can break people down. If you’re Uber talented then they’re willing to give you the time off to get things right.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I definitely see Sasha leaving WWE eventually, if the movie roles start coming in.
If not for movies, would Rock have ever left? Cena even said he'd never leave WWE either and he faded away too.
It's crazy seeing their womens roster and how young many of them still are despite being on the roster for years. Alexa and Sasha are still in their 20s, and names like Charlotte,Bayley,Becky,Bianca among others are 30-34. And then the older ones like Asuka and Shayna you can't even tell they're around 40.
That's another one of the reasons the womens division has been so good. The roster isn't filled with talent who put on so much mileage in their careers, finally getting to WWE in their mid 30s.
Having more talent coming up in their mid to late 20s is what's needed on the mens side.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
With the Network slated to move to Peacock, can we get some improvements to how shows like Raw and Nitro are organized? To give an example, I am rewatching Raw and Nitro (and eventually the other shows) with respective PPV’s from the time Raw started. I’m happy with the breakdown by year but then (at least on the Apple TV app) it goes in descending order from most recent. I would prefer from left to right it go in ascending date.

Yeah they had shot for Fastlane but are moving out of that lane and taking the slower lane driving towards Wrestlemania being the first PPV on Peacock.

Like if you only want to watch every segment and match featuring The Rock in chronological order, that could be possible.
Or let you filter stuff in searches. Like search for Kurt Angle, 2001, Raw, and you'll get everything filtered and see all his Raw stuff in 2001 in order.Comment
