Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Based on what I saw at Elimination Chamber I thought Wrestlemania was the first event on PeacockComment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
WWE yet again confirms the network goes to Peacock on March 18th.
April 4th is the last date people in the US can use the regular network.
The bad news from what I've seen is that it'll take until Summerslam for the entire library to move over to Peacock. Not sure how much will be available at the initial launch. Maybe it would be even more incentive for people to pay $4.99 to start if the entire on demand content won't be there, so ads won't be as big a deal.
The screenshot I saw of the network on Peacock also looks like it'll be harder to find specific content. The current networks navigation isn't the best, but still real good with being able to find shows by date, and having those markers within each show to skip to specific moments in it.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Maybe I'm reading wrong but it's sounding like the archives won't be carried over which ****ing sucks. That's the only reason I still have the Network.

Peacock will continually add WWE Network content to the library, making the entire WWE Network archive — including every WWE, WCW, and ECW PPV event in history — available to stream on demand before SummerSlam.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
That sucks that it won’t all be available immediately. I watch some pretty obscure stuff that I doubt will be a priority to get moved over in the early stagesComment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I didn’t expect everything on day one, but also didn’t expect it to take five months. But they’re bringing over a library that’s taken seven years to build up, so maybe that’s not too bad, all things considered. (I know nothing about video migration.) Going from everything one day to square one the next is going to be a shock though. This whole thing feels very rushed for WM.
Losing the current search engine and video milestones to skip thru events are going to hurt most, I think. Obviously not a priority for their existing TV catalog, but Peacock’s gotta find a way to get those back in for WWE stuff.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
So I guess my watch through of WCW and WWE from Raw’s beginning in 94 is going to have to take a break in April. Bummer too because I’m at the summer of 96.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I read this as they’ll bring everything over, it’ll just take until August.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Everyone's jumping to conclusion on what will or won't be on the network. I wouldn't be surprised if its better than what people think. All the WWE PPVs and Raw/SDs I could see being up there early on.
It's the extra stuff like Heat, Velocity, Indy Promotions, old school footage from defunct companies and other things probably comes later.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
So glad that Total Bellas is part of the initial rollout of WWE Network content on Peacock.
Welp, guess I'll just wait until all of the archives are transferred over and sign up at that time. I would say that 98% of my viewing is based in that archival footage.Currently Playing:
