WWE launched a YouTube channel for NXT. Not sure if it's going to end up being a full archive, but they started in 2012 and have about 40 episodes. They also have a handful of full matches and old Takeover events up so far.

But also makes me wonder if WWE is so willing to so that, why could've they have reached a deal with Netflix for this? Or should we be worried because if Netflix doesn't care about uploading archived footage, what does that mean for the current vaults which have a very poor selection of episodes.Comment

Re: WWE Netflix/Peacock Discussion Thread
A "reminder" to anyone who signed up for Netflix just for WWE, if you signed up on January 6th for Raw, your next month's billing starts tomorrow.
Luckily I remembered in time and downgraded my plan. Never thought if it at first, but you can't downgrade in the same month but you can upgrade.
From what I've read, doesn't sound like ad tier and ad free tier are different at all when it comes to watching WWE (maybe archived content might be diff but for now with their lack of content, not much point watching it), so might as well go with the ad tier to save some money while not impacting my viewing at all.Comment

They just uploaded the NXT Season 1 premier from 2010 when it was a game show. This show also featured Chris Jericho vs Daniel Bryan, which look WWE can obviously use their own footage and all that but Danielson is a free agent that we know of and Jericho can return in January 2026 after his contract is up. Interesting they spotlight the match even in the title of the video, but watching this back makes me feel old lol.

Bryan though I could see him back. I said it before, just seems too perfect a situation for him if he becomes a trainer or something in NXT and works alongside his own mentor/trainer in HBK.Comment

The 1994 match between Funk and Tully Blanchard, with Gordon Solie and Bobby Heenan on commentary, was something I never knew existed.
And the empty arena match between Funk and Lawler was pure Memphis wrasslin entertainment silliness, but in that era I guarantee people were sitting at home glued to their TV like it was a movie.Comment

Re: WWE Netflix/Peacock Discussion Thread
Peacock really sucks. The worst thing is not being able to watch from beginning. Their in-stream navigation sucks too. Horribly imprecise. And their interface is terrible.Comment

Re: WWE Netflix/Peacock Discussion Thread
I was randomly going through Cenas match list and didn't realize/always forget he was around in the attitude era/invasion era.
Would be a cool thing if they eventually release some 2001 Cena matches.
He competed in a dark match on the Raw after No Way Out 2001, the same Raw that ended with a confrontation between Stone Cold and new WWF Champ The Rock (which of course set up their WM17 match).Comment
