That's a good one. I don't know if he would've fit in the Attitude Era, but seeing him take on Rock or Austin would've been alright!

What if Taker would've started with, and stayed with, his "American Bad ***" persona? (I know we probably wouldn't have met Paul Bearer)

He'd be introduced now as like the 25-time World Champion lol.

I don't think the Streak would've happened, we probably wouldn't have Kane, or the APA, etc.

He would have been out of wrestling in the 90s, at the very best a glorified jobber.

I still think he would have had a pretty good career. He was one of the more agile big men in the history of the sport, so that alone would get him pretty far. If guys like Kevin Nash and Sid were able to accomplish what they did, I don't see any reason Taker wouldn't have been able to at the very least match their careers

Except Nash was a great talker... and Sid was in that "Ultimate Warrior" so crazy and passionate it works tier.

Taker's strength was always his character. Not his ring work (until the late late streak, which was still made better by his character) or his mic work.

There have been plenty of big guys that can go in the WWE. There haven't been plenty of big guys that have the strength of character that he does.

Not a knock on Taker - I've always liked him. It's just how it is.

ABA Taker >>>> Deadman Taker in my eyes. And I know that's not a common opinion. But Taker was great on the mic during the ABA era and was good in both the heel and face eras of that character.

What if Ric Flair died in the plane crash?

It was in October of 1975.

I think Tully Blanchard would have had a few World Title reigns. He was great in the ring and awesome on the mic, I always felt like being in The Horsemen hurt him since he would have never been the top guy

That's a good point. And if Flair would have passed, no Horsemen.

There would be no horsemen for one thing, part of me feels NWA/WCW may not have reached its high point in the 90s

Wonder if there could have been a Horsemen still, he had nothing to do with it being formed. Yeah he was the focal point or the main guy but they were all put together on screen by the production crew and Arn brought up The Four Horsemen of Apocalypse.

I still think the group could have come together, not sure it would have had the impact it did with Flair though. JJ was Tully's manager before the Horsemen formed, and like you said, the name of the group came from an AA promo

Here's a good one I was mulling over the other day...

What if the first Wrestlemania in 1985 had failed?

That's a pretty good one but I think they would have given it at least a couple more years before scrapping it, as much as they put into it I can't see them letting it go if it had done bad. Also probably would have started another PPV

What if Tully Blanchard hadn't failed that drug test when he was on his way back to WCW with Arn after leaving WWF. They were going to start the Horsemen back up with Flair, Arn, Tully, JJ Dillon and Barry Windham.

Also on top of what everyone has said, nobody would "whooo!" every time a chop was performed. Which would just not be right!
