Big show tonight!

I'm actually looking forward to the Wedding they have planned. It's a wrestling wedding, anything can happen. Although if it was a WWE wedding, Penelope probably reveals she is really in love with Miro, and Miro brags about being the best man AND the groom.

I enjoyed the part where Miro asks "What is Love?" and the crowd begins singing the Haddaway song. Miro then goes along with it off script and lets them sing for a bit but cuts them off to get back to the segment. My first thought was in WWE there was no way he would be able to play off the crowd like that and break from the script.

NJPW/AEW is actually happening??

Not sure about NJPW/AEW but they built it up as Kenta going after the IWGP US Title that Moxley still holds at this point.

If it was WWE, someone would've interrupted already. Like Miro said, just skip that part, he's been in enough wrestling weddings to know better, just skip the objections.

And then when the crowd sings "what is love" in WWE, Miro would've had to speak over them, the production truck lowers the volume of the crowd mic, and he continues talking. Maybe we get a "The WWE Universe, serenading the newly engaged couple with an old classic." from Cole.

Ahem, KENTA has arrived.

Not sure about NJPW/AEW but they built it up as Kenta going after the IWGP US Title that Moxley still holds at this point.

That was a crazy ending. I already like Kenta more than Hideo Itami.

I like how AEW is branching out all over. NJPW and Impact! How long before ROH or someone else gets involved too! Let's have a full on international/interpromotional war.

AEW Dynamite Thread

If AEW has working agreements with multiple promotions, this is a game changer in the wrestling world that WWE will have to take notice of.

I thought something may have been up considering Tama Tonga’s “Twitter feud” with the old BC guys...which speaking of Tama...

He was smart enough to go with it, then cut it off after people had their fun instead of milking it and wasting too much time. Total pro - truly the best man.

This is a very minor nitpick overall, but Justin Roberts’ “big match” thing where he drags a syllable out for like 5 minutes is the worst.

I wonder where the Inner Circle goes now that Sammy quit. Will we see 2 groups form out of this? A Jericho/MJF team while everyone else sides with Sammy? Sammy going in alone vs Inner Circle? Or at very least Santana/Ortiz turn and join Sammy so its 3 vs 3?

And what an opening round matchup they have set up in the womens eliminator. Anna Jay vs DOCTOR Britt Baker DMD. I would've loved that being a semi finals match or something.

Imagine if Hangmans deal with Matt ends up being that Matt owes Page 30% of his earnings. Or maybe he simply helped Private Party out of their deal?

I hope they handle the Sami leaving thing properly. If they do it right (Rock leaving corporation) it could absolutely skyrocket him to one of the top faces in the company.

So much of this picture screams "we're trying to be WWE," all the way down to the trending worldwide hashtag in the upper right. The fact is a lot of the people behind the scenes at AEW think WWE only started sucking like 5 years ago, and 2011 era was totally awesome. Just look at their women's division, with the likes of Anna Jay, etc. They are divas material.

Still, AEW does enough right to make up for the other stuff.

I find when listening to people even like Jericho make it sound like theres always been things they hated. Going as far as ripping on stuff even happening in the 00s.
