    Hey guys. Sorry for being MIA for awhile, just got a TON going on. Glad to see you guys are still working on things.

    Last night AFTER I download the patch, I watched a Fatal Four Way Match last night with Umaga, Bam Bam Bigelow, Rusev and Bray Wyatt and it went over 12 minutes with MUCH improved CPU AI in breaking up pin attempts. It was a Great Back and forth match. Guys got wore down at a good rate. I was VERY pleased with it.

    I been making a few tweaks here and there for LONGER matches. I am going to see where they lead.

      "Ok guy since the patch dropped yesterday it got me energized to try some new testing and tweaks. I just had an match with Shawn Michaels and Seth Rollins that went over 11 minutes and ended with Michaels hitting the Elbow Drop from the Top rope for the win. It was a GREAT back and forth match, probably the Best CPU vs CPU match i have seen so far.

      I am going to make some NEW tweaks and test the next couple days. I will keep you all Updated."


      This is EXTREMELY encouraging my friend...especially to see that Michaels hit a top rope finisher and that the match went 11 minutes! Which we discussed earlier in the thread is VERY long in 'real-time'...I compare that to like the Sting-Flair, 60 minute match back in the day! LOL!

      So are you using Steven547's wrestler attribute edits (or) do you have an excel file with edited wrestlers as well?

      What sliders are you using? Would you mind sharing so I (we) can test? I can twitch stream as well so we can all collaborate!

        I have been using Attributes from TEC Attribute thread. I am tweaking them as today. If you want any specific guys let me know and I can Post ALL of their Attributes for you to test.

        Sliders I have set I have been tinkering with I can post those in the Next 30 minutes, if you would like.

        EDIT: ALL of my matches are CPU vs CPU matches. I feel it is best to test to keep any User Bias out of the Equation. I use this type of testing for Every game and it seems to give me the best results.

          Do you mind putting up the attributes for Santino...Want to run a similar test as Steven547 with Brock vs. Santino to see results (aka 'Beast' vs. 'Jobber' LOL!)

          I will post the match here via Twitch when I have a chance!

          But overall, you think the patch has brought 'positive' improvements moreso than going two steps back?

                Good stuff man...One question I have...With Finisher Strength at 11, are you seeing jobbers kick out of Finishers? B/c it would bother me personally if a jobber like Santino would kick out of an F5! LOL! I'm wondering if that value at 18 would get more desirable outcomes...But heck...I'm away from my ps4 at the moment so haven't gotten a chance to test the value of Finisher strength at 11. Just a thought....

                And by the way...what level do you have it set on? Legend, Normal, or Hard? I realize these are AI matches but want to make sure all our 'conditions' match up for testing purposes.

                  Sorry I have it on LEGEND. The reason for 11 on the Finisher is to make the matches for the Higher Level guys to go longer. Brock dispatched Santino in Under 2 minutes in Both matches I watched, BUT it may still need to be tweaked. Look forward to hearing your feedback and thoughts.

                      Santino gets in a couple moves, but nothing that kills it for me. What i find much more Positive is the Matches I see with the Top guys. To get matches to go longer Reversals have to be there at a decent Level.

                      With Santino and Brock the Matches were short, so that is mainly what i wanted, with Brock dominating.

                          You got ALOT on you plate man, try to fit some sleep in there somewhere. LOL

                          NBA2k15 is a work in progress as well. LOL. Been getting some good results with it as well though.

                            Med school? Then i need you to fix the tear in my shoulder!! Haha

                            Yea...i have seen an unrealistic amount of reversals. I even created a "jobber" with every rating at 1, and still saw reversals. Another weird thing, I was testing a match so I had both wrestlers on USER control (hum vs hum). I was the only one playing....and get this...no one was controlling the other wrestler but he still reversed moves! The reversals seem to happen every 3-4 moves, making the game slightly pre-determined!

                              Sorry for the slow response! Like I said, I have no mathmatical equation. Well, I did at first, but that changed. Now it's just comparing each wrestler to another in that "division".

                              Some things I keep in mind:
                              Make matches longer by lowering any attack rating that causes damage (strike power, grapple power, grapple off, sub offense, etc).

                              With the lowering of each attribute, keep that wrestler in the proper "class" such as (Main eventer, mid carder, jobber).

                              Main eventers should have higher attack ratings than mid carders and jobbers. MId carders should have higher attack than jobbers.

                              Don't lower too many ratings or you'll lose the "realism"of the wrestler. Santino might lose every match, but his movement speed shouldn't be lowered to a Big Show rating, etc.

                              I also rate according to the "push" WWE gives them. For awhile, Bray was stuck on Mid Card. Now he is moving to main event, so I've "upped" some ratings.

                              Reversal ratings don't matter unless they are HUMAN controlled.

                              Following the theory above for separation between main eventers and others, Damage Recovery, Stamina, and Stamina Rec are raised or lowered depending on the "class"of the wrestler.

                              Env Off is dependent on if the wrestler uses the environment a lot. This is usally higher for the Ambroses, Ortons, Kanes, etc.

                              Don't be afraid about lowering a wrestlers attribute too much. It seems that you have to go pretty low to get a good seperation between wrestlers in some areas.

                              After all that is done, a lot of time I do a compare with each rating column of each wrestler. I compare them to the other wresters and make further tweaks. For exmaple, I'll sort all wrestlers by the Head DUR rating and see where I've rated each guy. That way I can see that I lowered or raised someone too much or too little.

                              Overall, it's just me looking at the wrestler and making judgements based on what I see on TV. Then testing, testing, testing!

                              Remember, my ratings are not the end all be all ratings. You have to adjust to how YOU think or want the match to go. If I think VTCRB's ratings are working better, I'll readjust mine. In the end, we all want the same thing with this game. The more "rating adjusters" or "slider makers" we have, the better our results will be.

                              Find something that works? Share it and we can all test it. It's a great group here, so modify away!
