Will Ospreay would be nice as he's starting to really emerge as a star in NJPW.
Also Fenix & Zack Sabre Jr.

There is a Sliders tab on the worksheet. Sounds like there may be some adjustments coming but that should be a start.

This is not to complain about your spreadsheet but to help anyone wanting to do mass edits.

For anyone using these to edit I have a couple tips to help make it much quicker and easier on the eyes when you try to edit a bunch in one session.

Make a copy of the spreadsheet, to your google drive. From that copy you can do a couple things. Make rows between each wrestler and columns between every 2 or 3 ratings.
In the abilities section, right click on column, conditional formatting, select the value is less than .5, and change the fill color to white. Can't remember, but you may have to change the text color to white also. Doing this helped with having the ones to add really stand out.
Also in the abilities section on the wrestler edit in game, I deleted all abilities and add in the ones suggested, much easier than trying to figure out which to add.

If you have 150+ wrestlers to edit, doing these changes to the spreadsheet might take a few minutes, but you will probably save 1-2 minutes per wrestler so possibly 3-5 hours saved, and get on a roll much easier than the default setup trying to pick out the number you need.
Kind of along these lines...as you're changing the personality stuff, use the "Dominant Trait" at the top to help. That shows which one has the most clicks and ties go to the one listed first in the list. What I do is move them all down to 1 (blue or red, doesn't matter) and then start with the lowest one. Count that many clicks and then you'll notice the "Dominant Trait" change to whatever you just did. Move on the the next lowest but, instead of counting all of those clicks, just hold down in the direction you want to go until the "Dominant Trait" changes again. If it's higher on the list, the click where it changes will be equal to what it was before. If it's lower, it will be one higher. Anything 90+, I do after the others and just max them out and count backwards.

If you're like me and want it to be exact (close can be good enough), you may want to click back until it changes again so you know that you didn't get an extra click or two in. But maybe I'm the only one OCD about that type of thing. Either way, the personality stuff was taking the longest time for me and I can cut a decent amount of time out by using this "trick"

Example:
AJ Lee has -50/-18/-93/65/-53/-68

I'd move everything down to one blue click (Dominant Trait becomes "Prideful"). Go to the second line and count 17 clicks to the blue (since it's already 1 click that direction)...DT becomes Respectful. Then I go to the first line and hold left until I see DT become Prideful. Once that happens, I know that I've hit 18 clicks that direction (because it's higher in the list order). From there, I can count from 19-50 to get it set. Go to the 5th line and hold left until DT changes to Bold. That would be 51 clicks (lower in the list) so I click twice to get to 53. Repeat for the others.

And instead of posting a third thread right away (sorry, should've multi-quoted) a few other things...
Does anyone know if there are issues with Divas and Ladder/Triple Threat matches? I got a bunch entered last night and tested one with Natalya, Naomi, and Becky Lynch (CAW). Didn't notice any ladders around the ring but figured they just needed to pull them out from under or something. Started working on more ratings and, an hour or so later, the match was still going on and still no ladder in sight. Maybe it was a weird glitch but just want to make sure that some setting here didn't cause the issue.

Finally, as I was entering some of these, I noticed that Braun Strowman has the Ring Breaker skill but I can't select it because I didn't select Fired Up. Are there any recommendations for what to do in that case? I ended up skipping that skill rather than adding the other but don't know if that would make a big difference at all. I feel like I noticed a couple other situations like that but don't recall exactly which ones.

Thanks Mike! Not all the non-WWE requests are indys - some are just WCW/ECW guys. ATM, I still need:

• Adam Bomb
• Ahmed Johnson
• Al Snow
• Buff Bagwell
• Chad Gable
• Fenix
• Goldberg
• Jason Jordan
• Jushin Thunder Liger
• Lance Storm
• Prince Puma
• Rick Steiner (’91 Steiner Bros.-era)
• Scott Steiner (both ’91 Steiner Bros.-era and NWO-era)
• Zeus

Also, noob question: anyone know a work-around for using the PM feature on the site? Do you have to reach a certain posting minimum to be able to private message? The site doesn't seem to want to allow me access.

Thanks guys!

I've got Snow, Bagwell, Goldberg, Storm, and Scott Steiner in my list. I have Rick as well but it's more recent than that.

FWIW, I can't PM you either. Just went to go share a link with you and can't. I've also got a form created modeled after the Input sheet that I wanted to share with you to see what other legends you might have in mind and if it worked for you. I don't know the specifics but there's probably a post count or timeframe that you're "on probation" before you can send/receive them.

Anyway, I'm working on some more of my ratings tonight. If Hyper's ok with it, I may just share the link that has my stuff in it...all of the heavy lifting has been done by him but I cleared his stuff out so I could pay attention to just my own stuff. My first go-round was intended to be more of an overall feel but now I'm going back and adding some more specific timeframes for each.

Did a few matches between John Cena and Hulk Hogan (CAW). Each match was over 15 minutes, with Cena winning 2 out of 3.

PROS
Each superstar stayed down about second longer after being hit with a move.

CONS
Only one much ended with a finisher (AA) while the other 2 ended with signatures (big boot, 5 knuckle shuffle)

Going out on a limb here... I was hoping to gain some insight into the numerical values for columns V through AA on the Input sheet, or how they are determined. I ask reluctantly, as I realize this is proprietary and Hyper's creative property, but thought it might take the burden of running formula for the remaining guys on my roster off of your shoulders and onto mine. The tool is stellar, by the way, and these are the only fields I don't quite grasp at the moment. Still have close to 50 guys I'd like to finish up before starting up my Universe, and I realize that this would take some considerable time for anyone inputting. Unfortunately, I still can't PM for some reason or I would have taken that route instead of posting to the forum thread, hope that's alright.

Well, I think they are somewhat subjective (as most of this is) but I've been trying to identify which of the 15 styles best apply to each person (columns V & W). Some could have 5-6 that could fit but I've been trying to identify the most appropriate/frequently-used ones and I try to consider their finisher/signature moves if I get really stuck.

Columns X, Y, Z (Modifiers)...I've been treating these as "bumps" for situations where somebody is stronger/more athletic/better technically (or weaker, etc.) than they might be given everything else (especially their size).

Column AA (Strike Style)...Rather than use the "Only Punches" to "Only Kicks" concepts literally, I've tried to determine how often they used kicks. I'd give a guy like RVD the Mostly Kicks or Only Kicks option. Sure, he doesn't ONLY use kicks but a ton of his strikes are kicks.

Again, I think a lot of this is subjective so it's hard to say "if x happens, then use y" but I'm not overly worried about things being 100% perfect as long as I don't have crazy stuff happening. As long as I'm getting good results and enjoy it, I'm happy. Besides, I/we can always tweak as we go.

Now...all that could go out the window if Hyper comes back and says that I'm way off on how it's supposed to work. Hope this helps.

I couldn't have said it any better myself, lol. Great job breaking it down.

As far as fight styles, I'll eventually add in an explanation to each one the clear up a few that could be ambiguous.

Glad to hear that I've been on the right path all along! In addition to an explanation for fighting styles, I'd suggest using an example for each. It might be easier for some people to say "oh...he's a cross between Bret Hart and Brock Lesnar" Maybe use the same ideas for Base Moveset. Looking through your sheet, I've noticed a few that I had done differently. Haven't dug around enough into your formulas to know how much it changes things but just thought I'd mention it.

This is great. I simmed a few matches and it seemed to go pretty well as I expected.

Apologies as I didn't read every item here, but can we make stat requests? There are a couple guys that I'd like to see based on these stats.

I replied to this about a week ago, but the reply is apparently lost in moderator limbo, so apologies if another post comes down redundant, but I had a quick question regarding the 15 offensive styles that you alluded to. Does this list exist somewhere that I can reference? On a similar note, is there a general guideline or list that I can referencefor column AA (Strike Style)? Thanks woodjer!
