        Sounds good.

Side Note. I'm a horrible golfer. Half the time I swing to drive it I end up missing the ball.

O's find ways to get out of trouble to capture first victory of 2008!!!!!

Baltimore, MD - It was a night of lost opportunities for the Rays tonight at the "Yard". After surrendering three runs in the 3rd inning to fall behind 4-2, the Rays would load the bases in the 6th inning with no outs, but Daniel Cabrera would strikeout Johnny Gomes and get Evan Longoria to ground into a 6-4-3 double play to get him out of the jam. The very next inning, the Rays would load the bases again with one out. The O's would turn to Dennis Sarfate who would then strikeout both Upton and Pena to end the rally for the Rays in the 7th. Once again the visitors got runners to the corners with two outs in the 8th, but Chad Bradford would get Ben Zobrist to ground out to first. Finally, in the 9th, the Rays brought the tying run to the plate trailing 5-2 but George Sherrill struckout Evan Longoria to end the game and record his first save of the season and the "Birds" first win of 2008.

Orioles take rubber game 4-3 behind Johnson's surprising start!!!!!

Baltimore, MD - Starter Brian Burres went down in pregame warm-ups with a shoulder strain, so the ball was handed to long reliever Jim Johnson for the final game of a three game set against the Rays tonight at Camden. Jim made the most of his opportunity as he earned his first victory in an exciting 4-3 decision. The Orioles scored the game winning run on a double off the bat of Aubrey Huff in the 5th inning that gave the "Birds" a 4-1 lead at the time. The Rays cut the lead to 4-3 before the combination of Chad Bradford and George Sherrill shut the door on the series. The Rays defense didn't help matters as they committed four errors on the night. The O's sitting at 2-1 will prepare to face the visiting Mariners for a four game set beginning tomorrow night.

Mariners outslug O's to take first game of series!!!!!

Baltimore, MD - Both the Mariners and the Orioles brought the lumber to Camden Yards tonight as the two teams combined for 10 runs on 25 hits. The Mariners got a two run homerun off the bat of Adrian Beltre in the 2nd inning to set the pace and they never relinquished the lead from there on out. The O's put pressure on the Mariners by closing the gap to one run on three different occassions but their offense was shut down in the final three innings by the masterful bullpen of Seattle. Relievers Ryan Rowland-Smith, Arthur Rhodes and Closer J.J. Putz allowed only one hit between the three to close out the Orioles. The O's fall to 2-2 on the season and will turn to starter Garrett Olson tomorrow to try and stay above the .500 mark.

Sorry man, I had the same issue as you did. I went to post and my computer locked up. I tried to do the recaps by what you can get off the box scores, but must of overlooked it when I re-did it. I'll try to fix it. Thanks.
