Just hang in there,it sucks that you're at the mercy of the CPU as far as trades go because you have some good young talent that you could give up for a veteran starter to stabilize your rotation.

I'm hanging in there man. That's the beauty of it for me though, I enjoy the challenge and it makes me feel like I'm the player/manager and not the decision maker when it comes to the organization.

"Z" man's home run in the 3rd gives the "Blue Birds" a split in the series at Camden.

Baltimore, MD - Greg Zaun started the scoring tonight in the 1st by hitting a single to center to plate Aaron Hill and then delivered a 2 run homerun in the 3rd inning to push a Blue Jays lead to 4-0. It was enough as starter Shaun Marcum cruised through a solid 7.0 IP allowing only two earned runs in the process. Reliver Brian Tallet and closer B.J. Ryan would finish the Orioles off for the evening by pitching just as well in the final two innings. Alex Cintron had his 11-game hitting streak snapped as the O's fall to 5-10 on the year as they prepare for another quick 2 game series as the "Good Guys" from the windy city pay a visit to Baltimore beginning tomorrow night.

Sox take opener as both teams play home run derby!!!!!

Baltimore, MD - It was the night of the long ball at Camden Yards tonight. Both teams combined for a total of 8 homeruns in the ballgame as the boys from the southside of Chicago took the opener of a short two game set 9-5. The homerun parade started in the 3rd inning off the bat of Joe Crede to break a 1-1 tie. It continued in the 5th when Nick Swisher delivered his 3rd homerun of the season onto the flag court in right field. The Orioles then joined the extravaganza in the 5th and 7th innings off the bats of Ramon Hernandez and Aubrey Huff to cut the Sox lead to 5-3, but the "good guys" got the next three with two coming in the 9th inning off the lumber of Paul Konerko and A.J. Pierzynski to push the lead to 9-3. Ramon Hernandez hit his second homerun of the night in the bottom of the 9th, but it was way to late as the White Sox took game one. The "Birds" fall to 5-11 and hope to start turning things around tomorrow night.

Scott continues red hot April as Orioles hold on to split series!!!!!

Baltimore, MD - It may be to early to start talking about the MVP award, but Luke Scott is taking major strides in getting his name on the ballott for this year. Luke delivered his 20th RBI of the month and his 6th homerun of the season in the 3rd inning to give the "Birds" a 3-0 lead. That shot was enough for the victory as Daniel Cabrera took care of business tonight allowing only 1 run on 4 hits to earn his 2nd victory of the year. Chad Bradford delivered a perfect 8th and George Sherrill closed it out in the 9th but not after the White Sox scored a run in the inning and put a scare into the Orioles. The victory moves Baltimore to 6-11 still looking up at the rest of the division as they prepare to host the hated "Bombers" from New York for a three game set beginning tomorrow night.

Well, I guess technically. We had a massive hail/thunderstorm here Monday night. It was weird, I was just posting to candymangt on his website about the weather because I didn't want to miss wrestling and five minutes later, BOOM!!!!!! Lights out for about 15 minutes. When they came back on, my modem was dead. Went to reset it and the only thing it would do is blink the power light. Got a technician out today and he said it was a goner.

Yankees offense to much for Orioles in first game of series!!!!!

Baltimore, MD - The Yankees offense was just to much for the O's to handle tonight. Everytime the O's made an effort to keep pace, the offense for the "Bombers" would turn it up a notch and keep a small distance between them and the hometown boys. The Yankees got homeruns from Hideki Matsui and Robinson Cano, who hit his first of the year to pace the Yanks. Mike Mussina was effective enough to earn his second win of the season and Mariano Rivera delivered a perfect 9th to seal the victory and get New York back to the .500 mark. O's starter Brian Burres continued to struggle as his record now falls to 0-3 on the season. The O's will look to recover tomorrow as they will send their most effective pitcher Steve Trachsel to the hill.

Well, not like I wasn't expecting it. It's tough. I seem to play well most of the games but just can't find a way to win consistently. It's only April though. Lots of baseball left.
