          Next week's games are going to tell a lot, especially with our senior #2 guard, Patrick Edwards slated to return from his injury. We were in both games while we were at their place, now we'll see how we do on our home floor.

          This could all wind up in a showdown at the end of the regular season against nationally ranked Utah State on our court.

              First Half

              Terrell puts in a layup on a fast break and after House sinks a hook, Edwards makes two free throws. Johnston buries a jumper and slams in a dunk then after Newsom hits a 3pter and Frederick lays in a rebound, Hackstadt and Hinds trade jumpers. Famutimi puts in a layup and after Newsom knocks down two free throws, Johnston cans 1 of 2 free throws to pull New Mexico State to within a basket, 13-11, halfway through the opening half. Brewer slams in a dunk and after Newsom puts in a layup, Frederick lays in a rebound and makes 1 of 2 free throws. Terrell drops in a layup on a fast break and Sikes cans two free throws then after Frederick sinks a hook, Johnston nails a jumper and Terrell puts in a layup to give the Aggies the lead. Famutimi drains 1 of 2 free throws and after Johnston gets two free throws, Edwards and Bragg put in layups on fast breaks. Bruthelieus knocks down two free throws and Sikes tips in a rebound then Bragg banks in a layup and buries a 3pter to give Boise State the lead at the half. New Mexico State's Johnston leads all scorers with 9 points. Bragg, Newsom and Frederick each have 7 points to lead the Broncos.

              Second Half
              Terrell sinks a short turnaround jumper and after Edwards hits a 3pter, Frederick makes 1 of 2 free throws and Newsom banks in a layup on a fast break. Terrell swishes a hook and Sikes puts in a layup then after Hinds drills a short turnaround jumper, Johnston drops in a couple of layups to give New Mexico State the lead. Edwards and Bragg each knock down two free throws and after Toppert drops in a hook, Esterkamp cans two free throws. Famutimi and Hinds trade hooks then Hinds drains another hook to give Boise State a five point lead, 47-42, midway through the second half. Minor and Edwards drop in layups and after Famutimi sinks a short turnaround jumper, Edwards hits a 3pter. Johnston tips in a rebound and Famutimi stuffs in a dunk then after Bracy lays in a rebound, Frederick and Brewer trade jumpers. Frederick cans a hook and after Brewer puts in a couple of layups, Bragg makes two free throws. Brewer gets 1 of 2 free throws and with 30.6 seconds to go, the Aggies start fouling. Bragg and Edwards each drain two free throws and after Brewer banks in a layup, Edwards knocks down two more free throws to ice the game.

                  Newsom hits a 3pter and after Gilchrist converts a 3-point play and Grove makes two free throws, Kabba cans 1 of 2 free throws. Gilchrist and Wilcox bank in layups then after Kabba drains a runner and Frederick nails a hook, Esterkamp drills a 3pter. Edwards drops in two free throws and a layup and after Bragg banks in a layup on a fast break, Esterkamp knocks down a jumper. Deberry makes two free throws then after Edwards buries a jumper, Balkman puts in a layup to stop an 18-4 run and pulls Nevada to within nine, 22-13, halfway through the opening period. Balkman lays in a rebound then after Newsom and Balkman trade jumpers, Newsom and Zuzak hit 3pters.                           First Half

                          Castro puts in a layup and after Frederick sinks a hook, House and Kabba bank in layups. Channing swishes a hook then after Channing and House trade short jumpers, Brophy makes 1 of 2 free throws. Paul cans two free throws and after House nails a short turnaround jumper, Channing drills a hook. Zuzak buries a 3pter and a layup then after Bragg drains two free throws, Perkins drops in a 3pter to pull Utah Valley State to within three, 17-14, halfway through the first half. Channing sinks a couple of jumpers and after Millsap lays in a rebound and Flores makes 1 of 2 free throws, Hinds converts a 3-point play. Brophy drains a runner and a short jumper then after Blackshear cans two free throws, House swishes a turnaround jumper at the buzzer to pull Boise State to within one at the half. Utah Valley State's Channing leads all scorers with 10 points and House leads the Broncos with 8.

                          Second Half
                          House puts in a layup and after Brophy tips in a rebound, Newsom makes two free throws and Frederick hits a short jumper. Paul converts a 3-point play and cans 1 of 2 free throws then after Millsap and Bragg trade jumpers, Edwards and Hinds drop in layups. Channing lays in a rebound and Roy drills two free throws and after Edwards nails a 3pter, Castro banks in a layup and Blackshear drains two free throws to give Utah Valley State a ten point lead, 51-41, midway through the second half. Kabba dunks in a rebound and Esterkamp sinks a jumper and after Blackshear makes 1 of 2 free throws, Newsom drains a short jumper. Walcott and Taylor put in layups then after Newsom hits a short jumper, Blackshear and Dalgarn trade layups. Channing banks in a hook and Brophy nails a jumper and after House lays in a rebound and Newsom buries a short turnaround jumper, Castro and Edwards trade layups as the Wolverines shock the Broncos.
