And my Xbox is going through hardware failures right now... not looking good. Hopefully I can wait a couple days for it to... I don't know... it'll work.

No wiggle room in my budget to get a new 360 yet so... who knows...

After the game, I was playing around in practice mode... and it got stuck again. It's starting to become a habit now. Hopefully if my Xbox really is dying, I just hope I get to finish this season and offseason off before it really does die. But from what I hear... it's supposedly on "life support" already...

GAME 44: Atlanta Hawks (31-12) @ San Antonio Spurs (26-17)

The red-hot Atlanta Hawks visited the Spurs in their arena, and boy did a classic game go down. With the struggling Jamal Crawford and Mike Bibby, the Atlanta Hawks had to rely on Joe Johnson to be their main scorer. The Hawks were down most of the game, but Mike Bibby recalled, "I just told our team to keep chipping away. We won't get all those points back chucking threes. We had to just take it slow, play some good D, and take good shots."

The Hawks were still down by a margin of 9 with about five minutes left to go. It was Richard Jefferson who the Hawks were really struggling against. After the Hawks paired him up with Josh Smith, however, it was almost over for the Spurs as Smith shut him down. It was Smith who provided the energy needed to make that push to tie the game after blocking a foul-line jump shot by Richard Jefferson. He passed it off to Bibby who would pass it off to Marvin to get the game-tying fastbreak jam.

The game would later go into overtime. Joe Johnson would still be the hero as he would be the one that scored the three pointer. He deservedly won the player of the game award as he was double teamed for most of the night and came up with key shots and assists when Atlanta needed it the most.

SG Joe Johnson: 44 Points, 1 rebound, 11 assists, 3 steals
SF Richard Jefferson: 36 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists, 1 steal
PF Josh Smith: 27 points, 13 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, 1 block
                C Al Horford: 20 points, 14 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal

                  GAME 45: Boston Celtics (27-14) @ Atlanta Hawks (32-12)

There was a battle in the Philips Arena tonight. But it did not go towards the Hawks' favor. Battling with very little time left in the clock, the Hawks made a lot of bad turnovers... most notable was Mike Bibby. Bibby had three turnovers in the key moments of the game.

Joe Johnson also struggled throughout the entire game. In the first half, Johnson scored only 2 points and took 10 shots. He finished the game with 8-for-23 shooting. Jamal Crawford, however, had a big night as he showed that he can do the job that he was brought in here to do - and that's to score if Joe Johnson can't. Crawford was often double teamed tonight but he still broke out with 35 points playing on 30 minutes.

The Celtics shot a lot of balls and finished with 51-for-101 and 4-for-13 from behind the arc. They knew that if they scored fast and early, the Hawks would be caught offguard. Kevin Garnett dominated the paint and received the player of the game honors.

SG Jamal Crawford: 35 points, 2 rebounds, 6 assists
PF Kevin Garnett: 31 points, 18 rebounds, 6 assists
SG Ray Allen: 31 points, 3 rebounds, 8 assists, 1 steal
SF Paul Pierce: 20 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal
SG Joe Johnson: 19 points, 1 rebound, 6 assists, 1 steal

                  118

Next Game: After that rough game against the Celtics, the Hawks will still be on the bumpy road travelling to the tough Orlando Magic. This is a back-to-back game so the Hawks have little time to rest. The Magic are 27-19 but are only 5-5 in the past 10 games. That record could be due to the injuries of A. Foyle, J.J. Redick, and B. Bass. The only one listed as out is Adonal Foyle, however.

                    GAME 46: Atlanta Hawks (32-13) @ Orlando Magic (27-20)

After a disappointing loss at home against the Boston Celtics, the Atlanta Hawks travelled to Orlando to face off against Dwight Howard and the Magic. The Hawks came into the game focusing on defense as they held the Magic to just 18 points in the first quarter. The game stayed relatively close throughout the entire game however, coming down to the last few minutes of the game before a dagger three by ATL captain Joe Johnson.

It was Mike Bibby who really stuck out tonight as he scored a season-high 23 points. Joe Johnson had an off night as he shot only 4-for-17 from the floor, and Jamal Crawford, who usually stepped in in case Joe Johnson was having a bad night, also had a sloppy performance as he went 5-for-13.

Dwight Howard made sure he'd leave his mark on this game as he overpowered every one in the paint to finish with 27 rebounds. The Hawks were outrebounded by more than a dozen rebounds, but they found other ways to beat the Magic. They played a very sound defense and held enough ground to keep the lead towards the last whistle. Mike Woodson's Hawks played terrific perimeter defense as they held Rashad Lewis and Vince Carter to a combined 4-for-18 from behind the arc.

PG Mike Bibby: 23 points, 3 assists, 2 steals

SG Vince Carter: 20 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists

GAME 47: Atlanta Hawks (33-13) @ Oklahoma City Thunder (28-19)

A new month means a lot to a team. It means a new, fresh start. For players who are struggling, it gives them an opportunity to start a new "page". For players who are on fire, they are given an opportunity to prove that they weren't just on a "streak".

The Hawks visited the Thunder to start off the month of February. The Hawks came into the game undefeated against the Thunder this year, but Oklahoma City posed a threat as they were 18-6 at home.

Marvin Williams, one of those types of players who looks to a new month as a fresh page, did not do so good as he tried being aggressive on offense but was only trumped by Kevin Durant and the Thunder's defense. He continues to struggle as Woodson claims that he has thought of benching him for Maurice Evans, "He's just not performing. In this league, it's a What Have You Done for Me Lately? kind of scheme, and he hasn't really done much... he has as much potential as anyone on this team, yet he hasn't broken out yet." Marvin was not available for comment post-game.

While Marvin struggled shooting only 3-for-11, his counterpart Josh Smith had one of the best games of his career. Rebounding 19 boards and scoring 24 points, he easily won the player of the game award as he was absolutely dominant tonight. Along with the boards, he also blocked three shots. Smith has been absolutely on fire and has been the one to carry this team as of late.

PF Josh Smith: 24 points, 19 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, 3 blocks

GAME 48: Los Angeles Clippers (25-23) @ Atlanta Hawks (34-13)

The Clippers are a team that have really been struggling as of late, but they put up a good fight against the Hawks in the Philips Arena. The Hawks' offense doesn't seem to be scoring as many points, and they have been held below 100 points in two consecutive games coming into tonight's game. Their offense isn't exactly struggling, but they just haven't been putting as many shots.

Coach Woodson likes it. He says, "We've concentrated more on defense and not offense. At the end of the year, we'd like to look back and see how much we've developed as a team, as an offense, and also as a defense. We're still number one in field goal percentage, points per game, and Top 3 in rebounds per game. So we really like how far we've gotten as a team, and we'd like to keep developing as a whole."

The game stayed relatively close as it was a good battle between Atlanta's Josh Smith and Los Angeles' Blake Griffin. Smith blocked Griffin's shot twice, but Griffin also slammed one in Smith's face. It was an electrifying matchup, but it was Smith who got the last laugh as it was his team who came away with the victory.

I've read the whole thing - great association Matt!

One question - how do you format the Scoreboard you use? I'm having trouble with my own recaps.
