Rough way to lose a game, can't say I haven't been there. Just have to recover from there.

So I'm Curious, how are some of the other top Draft picks doing? Have any of them played much better than expected and thereby make you wonder what if you would have drafted them or do you stick to your guns with Redd?

      Dalembert strains hamstring, day-to-day
      __________________________________________________

      ESPN.com news services

NBA players are no strangers to injury, although it typically occurs while on the court. Although in some cases, an injury arises from a more obscure circumstance, as was the case with Monta Ellis' ankle injury a couple years back.

      Dalembert

The latest player to be struck by the off-court injury bug was Cleveland Cavaliers starting center Samuel Dalembert. The somewhat embarrassed veteran's agent described the cause of his injury as a "routine trip down the stairs gone wrong," he told an ESPN correspondent. "He slipped, and then when he tried to regain balance he ended up in a split-like position spanning across several steps."

The injury rules Dalembert out for this Friday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers, and he will likely miss the next week or two. Cavaliers athletic trainer Max Benton says he could likely play through the injury, but the organization feels it's best that he fully recuperate before seeing game action again. "With an injury like this that's just a strain, there's always a chance they could over-exert themselves in game action causing the injury to escalate to a tear, so I almost always recommend extra rest and waiting for a full recovery," said Benton.

Dalembert will travel with the team on their upcoming road trip and his game status will be evaluated on a daily basis until they feel he is ready to return.

Thanks for the comments guys! Getty, that's a great idea! I have been planning on giving a review of my rookies every 3rd week of the month, but I think I'll extend that to some of the other top rookies as well now, I like that. Thanks!

Hi! I love what you've done here. I'm doing my pistons dynasty currently, and I have a couple technical questions. First, how do you get your feaux website with cavs news up on here? How did you create it?

And secondly, how do you get game pictures and such directly on here from your game? I'd love to be able to implement this myself, it gives just that extra little bit of realism.

Thanks! Glad you like it! Which are you referring to though, the game recaps?

If you open up a replay of a play in your game, there will be a button for save (L3 maybe?) and that will bring up options to save replay and a few others; you'll want to select upload screenshot to 2ksports. Then you just need to log in on the 2k site and save or post your pictures from there. Although I think that's been buggy lately, as my last few games haven't shown up yet.

There's also a way to save the replay and then open it up in 2K reel maker and save a screenshot to your ps3 but that's more of a hassle.

Well I have a 360.....does the same still apply? I'd be willing to go through a little more hassle to get the pics without having to use my phone, which leaves them a little washed out, then email to myself, then save to my comp, then attach.

Anyway, it was your thread that inspired me to do my own! I'm having a blast doing it, and I"m curious to get your thoughts.

Yeah I'm assuming it's probably the same for the 360. The photos definitely add a nice touch. I'll have to check your dynasty out as well.

Which faux site look were you talking about tho?

Sadly we won't be able to upload screenshots in about 20 something days because 2k's online site is going down for some big renovation.

Uh oh, thanks for the heads up I'll have to save all the pics that are already up there before they take it down.

That's a good thing though that they're renovating it because that site is a pain to use.

And the latest game I played still hasn't shown up, but hopefully it'll come thru eventually. This gives me a chance to get caught up on recaps though instead of just continuing to play games. Should have some updates tonight

With that one I just took a screenshot of the banner on the Cavs actual site (the one for all pic).

I make the main game pic with the headline in gimp (which is like a free version of photoshop, to add the semi-transparent black bar) and microsoft paint (to add the text).

I messed around with html to make the top performer etc wrap up that's on the right of the article.

Basically just had some ideas and messed around with html long enough to figure out how to make it look like that haha. If you want some help implementing something similar for your franchise just let me know and I'll see what I can do!
