Re: What can Brown do for you? (CH2k8)
Sorry guys for slacking on this as of late. Been pretty busy and I've been playing more online games lately and just not paying much attention to my legacy. I'll try to get a few games in this weekend though....I hope.....“If you’re true to yourself, you’re going to be true to everyone else.”Comment

No worries on the slacking, man. Glad to see you updating. I haven't updated mine because I'm waiting on a new copy of CH2k8 that's still "in transit"Comment

The video highlights are nice! Although I imagine that could cut into your playing time quite a bit. I'm already considering scaling back reports in my legacy just because of that, & I certainly have no plans to start posting video.Comment

BROWN ALMOST BLOWS 15 POINT LEAD LATE
2/2/12 - Providence, RI: With Tyler Ponticelli hurt, Josh Biber took the opportunity and ran with it.
"Josh was great today" said Rogers, "We all know he is a capable scorer but what I was happy with was he played solid defense as well."
Josh Biber was 4-6 (2-3 from three) and had a career high of 14 points.
When asked on whether or not Josh Biber will get some playing time once Ponticelli returned, Rogers said, "It will all depend on his work ethic in practice. If he proves that he can play like this on a consistent basis, I will obviously have to play him. Now I'm not expecting him to get in double digits every night but I do expect him, and the rest of the team for that matter, to play like every play might be his last."
On the other side of the ball, Brown's main objective was to stop Noruwa Agho.
"I felt like in the first half we did a very good job on containing him and I give Joe Sharkey a lot of credit there" said Rogers, "Unfortunately he got away from us in the second half. Our biggest problem was stopping Steve Frankoski though. Taylor had an unusually bad defensive game tonight but I doubt that will continue."
Brown, however, had a big lead late in the game that evaporated in just a couple minutes.
"We were cruising late in the game and just got comfortable" commented Rogers, "You cannot do that especially in conference play. That is something I won't tolerate."
All in all, Brown played another strong game and is now 3-1 in conference play.

Re: What can Brown do for you? (CH2k8)
The match previews are a nice touch that we don't see.
You've picked a tougher road in getting Brown to the Big Dance because there is no post season conference tournament in the Ivy League. Only the conference winner goes to the NCAA Tournament.
You still have a ways to go yet to the end of the season. Good luck!
(PS: I'll get mine going as soon as I locate the disc. It's AWOL from the game package. Wait 'til the "new" coaches get a load of what I bring to the posts.)If you can read this, thank a teacher. If you can read this in english, thank a soldier.Comment

Brown explodes in 2nd half, Halpern scores 27
2/8/12 - Providence, RI: Brown was only down 2 at halftime but took over in the second half to win by 20 points.
"Dartmouth played a lot of different defenses tonight. When Joe Sharkey was at the point, they went to a Triangle and 2. When they went into the Tri&2, they guarded the 2 & 3 positions. That gave Tucker Halpern a lot of open looks tonight" explained Rogers, "They also played some 2-3, 3-2, and a little man but not much."
Brown struggled shooting in the first half only scoring 24 points but nearly doubled that in the second half.
"We overplayed their defenses in the first half. At halftime we told the players to play simple and to not overdo anything. We did the simple things and got the ball on the block and got guys open looks from 3."
Dartmouth, who was last in ppg in the IVY league coming into tonight scored the first 10 points in just 2 minutes.
"We just did not come out ready to play tonight" said Rogers, "After that little hiccup in the first couple of minutes, our defense really stepped up tonight and I was proud of my guys for doing what it took to win tonight."
