Deki Joneliunas

PF 6-10 265 lbs 75 OVR Lithuania

When Joneliunas arrived at Fairfield, he knew two words in English, "Deki" and "Chipotle." Luckily, new teammate Vaidotas Ritter was there to translate for Coach Beilein. Over his three seasons under Beilein, Joneliunas's Enligh wasn't the only thing to improve. Deki's game during his Freshman campaign was to float around the 3-point line, just like the European big man stereotype. Over the next three seasons, Deki's 3-point percentage dropped while the rest of his game rounded out. The high point of his career was his junior season, his last under Coach Beilein, when Deki shot an amazing 58% from the floor and emerged as a team leader at the 5 position. Joneliunas was named to the all-conference team all 4 years at Fairfield, including 3 times to the first team.
