Re: An NBA 2K16 Association Sim Using 2001-02 Rosters
Man, brought me back to my high school days here. Heck of an idea. Envious for sure.
It's funny.. I felt myself rooting for the Sixers towards the end of the season there and was so let down when Iverson got hurt.. Reminded me of the good old days of Sixers hoops.. Anxious to see how Jay Williams career could have ended up if he never wrecked the motorcycle.
Well done.Comment

2002 USA FIBA Team News
The United States FIBA Team unveiled their uniform for the upcoming FIBA World Cup taking place in Indianapolis, Indiana starting in August.
USA Coaching Change
San Antonio Spurs Head Coach, Gregg Popovich, was introduced as the new United States Men's Basketball Coach
United States basketball also made a big announcement. San Antonio Spurs Coach Gregg Popovich has signed on to be the USA Men's Basketball coach at the FIBA Tournament's and Olympics through the year 2012.
Popovich, who has coached the Spurs since 1996-97 took over a team team that only won 20 games. However, during his 6 year tenure with the Spurs, he has a record of 281-161 with 2 NBA Championships... The most recent championship being this past season as the Spurs defeated the Raptors in the NBA Finals.
Popovich assume head coaching duties immediately and his first practice with the 2002 FIBA team will be tomorrow. Once again, here are the 12 players representing the United States in the 2002 FIBA World Cup:
2002 USA FIBA Roster # NAME POS AGE HT WT TEAM 4 Chauncey Billups (90) SG 28 6'3 202 Atlanta Hawks 5 Baron Davis (86) PG 22 6'2 211 New Orleans Hornets 6 Richard Hamilton (86) SF 26 6'6 185 Washington Wizards 7 Jermaine O'Neal (83) C 22 6'11 226 Indiana Pacers 8 Antoine Walker (85) PF 29 6'8 224 Boston Celtics 9 Steve Francis (87) PG 25 6'2 178 Houston Rockets 10 Tracy McGrady (95) SG 21 6'8 210 Orlando Magic 11 Shawn Marion (86) SF 27 6'7 220 Phoenix Suns 12 Stephon Marbury (87) PG 24 6'1 182 Phoenix Suns 13 Ben Wallace (87) C 30 6'9 240 Detroit Pistons 14 Antawn Jamison (83) PF 24 6'9 222 Charlotte Bobcats 15 Chris Webber (88) PF 28 6'8 246 Sacramento Kings
So, as you can see, Coach Pop has tons of talent to work with... Now he has the challenge of having all these stars play as a team and help the United States bring home the Gold Medal for the first time since 1994.Comment
