Just a quick side note... I promise you, the numbers are red... I guess it was the lighting in my room at the time that I took the pictures of the uniform that is making the numbers look orange.

Re: An NBA 2K16 Association Sim Using 2001-02 Rosters
First Round: United States vs. Yugoslavia
Indianapolis, IN -- The United States and Yugoslavia squared off in the 1st Round of the FIBA Tournament. The United States were victorious in this game as they defeated the Yugoslavian National Team by a score of 109-77.
Leading all scorers was player of the game Tracy McGrady. McGrady scored 17 points on 7-9 shooting and 2-3 from 3 Point Range. He also added 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals to his stat line. 3 of those 4 assists came on alley-oop passes to starting SF Shawn Marion.
Marion played very efficiently on the offensive end of the court. Marion was the 2nd leading scorer as he scored 14 points on 6-7 shooting and went 2-2 from the free throw line. However, 8 of those 14 points came off of dunks.
Backup PG Steve Francis and starting PF Chris Webber both chipped in 11 points each. Francis was 5-9 from the floor while Webber was 5-7 from the floor. Webber also was just 1 rebound shy of a double double as he finished with 9 rebounds and he also dished out 4 assists.
Then, starting US Center Jermaine O'Neal did a little bit of everything in this game. O'Neal finished with a stat line of: 8 points (4-5 shooting from the floor), 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 blocks, and 2 steals. What isn't mentioned is the countless number of times he altered a shot near the rim during this game.
Yugoslavia was led by SG Marko Jaric who scored a team high 13 points on 5-11 shooting and 3-4 from the free throw line.
Center Dejan Tomasevic was the only other Yugoslavian player with 10 or more points. Tomasevic scored 10 points on 4-7 shooting and he also grabbed 6 boards.
NBA players Vladimir Radmanovic, Vlade Divac, and Peja Stojakovic were held in check for most of the game. The trio combined to shoot 9-23 and only scored 20 of the teams 77 points.
Up Next: The United States stays in the Winner's Bracket and will take on the Dirk Nowitzki led Germany National Team in the 2nd Round of the Championship bracket. Yugoslavia now drops to the 5th place bracket and will play Puerto Rico.

Second Round: United States vs. Germany
Indianapolis, IN -- In the second round of the FIBA World Cup, the United States and Germany national teams matched up. While it was competitive for the first half, the United States pulled away in the 2nd half to take this game and move onto the FIBA World Cup Championship game. The USA won by a score of 125-90.
Leading the way for the USA was player of the game, Chris Webber. Webber finished with 14 points on a perfect 6-6 shooting and 2-2 from the free throw line. Webber also finished with 5 rebounds, 4 blocks, 3 assists, and 1 steal.
Backup Guard Steve Francis came off the bench and scored a team high 19 points. Francis shot 7-8 from the floor, 3-4 from 3 point range, and 2-2 from the free throw line. Francis also added 7 assists in just 18 minutes of playing time.
Center Ben Wallace came off the bench and got the first double double by a USA player so far in the FIBA Tournament. Wallace finished with 12 points and 12 rebounds, as well as blocking 2 shots. Antawn Jamison came off the bench for the USA and also chipped in 12 points in just 9 minutes of playing time.
Backup Guard Baron Davis had a game like Jermaine O'Neal did vs. Yugoslavia. Davis did a little bit of everything for the US. Davis finished with a stat line of: 9 points, 7 assists, 4 steals, 2 rebounds, and 1 block.
Germany was surprisingly not led by NBA Star Dirk Nowitzki. Instead, the Germany National Team was led by PG Mithat Demirel. Demirel finished with a game high 22 points on 10-19 shooting. He got a lot of those points off of the US double teaming Dirk Nowtizki.
Then, despite frequent double teams, Dirk Nowitzki still managed to score 12 points on 5-13 shooting and was 2-2 from the free throw line. Nowitzki also finished with 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block, and 1 steal.
Then, Germany Guards Pascal Roller and Henrik Rodl both chipped in 12 points. However, Roller really hurt the Germans as he turned the ball over 6 times in 17 minutes of playing time.
Up Next: The United States will now take on the Argentina National Team in the FIBA World Cup Championship. Germany will now play for the bronze medal vs. New Zealand.

FIBA Championship: United States vs. Argentina
In a near repeat of their last game, the United States pulled away in late in the 2nd half and kept their big lead as they win the 2002 FIBA Championship!
The United States was led by PF Antoine Walker who came off the bench and scored a team high 16 points on 8-9 shooting from the floor.
United States SG and Tournament MVP, Tracy McGrady, scored 13 points on 5-9 shooting and 3-6 from 3 point range. McGrady also had 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals.
C Jermaine O'Neal chipped in 9 points, on 4-7 shooting. O'Neal also had 6 rebounds and 3 blocks. Four other US players also had 9 points in this game and two US players had 8 points in a very balanced scoring attack.
Argentina was carried by two players all game. The first was SG Manu Ginobili who scored a game high 23 points on 10-24 shooting and 3-7 from 3 point range. Ginobili also grabbed 5 boards in 20 minutes of playing time.
The second player was PG Alejandro Montecchia who scored 19 points on 6-11 shooting and 4-8 from 3 point range. At one point, Montecchia was a perfect 4-4 from 3 point range, but he missed his last 4 attempts.
With this Championship, the United States won it's 4th Gold Medal in FIBA competition and it's 16th Gold Medal in Olympic play and FIBA play combined.

Re: An NBA 2K16 Association Sim Using 2001-02 Rosters
This has been a great read. Was motivated from reading it and Started up a MyLeague with your rosters using my Lakers. Wanna see how many more titles the Dynamic Duo can win without the bickering and fighting.Comment

I'm also interested to see how Shaq and Kobe do. They probably would have won the NBA Title last season if it weren't for Shaq's injury.Comment

Re: An NBA 2K16 Association Sim Using 2001-02 Rosters
October 25, 2002-November 5, 2002 Recap
October 25-October 29 Eastern Conference Player of the Week
Boston Celtics SF Paul Pierce (1)
October 25-October 29 Western Conference Player of the Week
Houston Rockets PG Steve Francis (1)
October 30-November 5 Eastern Conference Player of the Week
Orlando Magic SG Tracy McGrady (1)
October 30-November 5 Western Conference Player of the Week
San Antonio Spurs PF Tim Duncan (1)
Stories of the Week- Paul Pierce made a remarkable comeback to the NBA. He missed the 2nd half of last season with a spinal injury, and there was some question as to if he would go ahead and retire. Well, in his first week back from the frightening injury, Pierce is named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week and is leading the league in scoring after two weeks.
- Paul Pierce and Steve Francis won the first Player of the Week awards of the year. Neither of the two won a Player of the Week Award last season.
- Then, familiar winners of the Player of the Week Award, Orlando's Tracy McGrady and San Antonio's Tim Duncan, won the Player of the Week Award in Week 2.
- Two weeks into the season, only two teams are undefeated. Those teams are the Minnesota Timberwolves (5-0) and the Dallas Mavericks (6-0).
- While there are two teams that are undefeated, two teams in the league don't have a win yet. Those teams are the Los Angeles Clippers (0-5) and the Utah Jazz (0-6).
- The two teams who faced each other in the Eastern Conference Finals, the Orlando Magic and Toronto Raptors, are both off to slow starts. The Magic are 4-4 while the Raptors are 3-2.
- The Charlotte Bobcats were a league worse 14-68 last season. They're already 3-3 this year, thanks to Antawn Jamison and #1 pick Yao Ming.
- Yao Ming is leading all rookies in scoring and rebounding with 15.0 PPG and 9.7 RPG.
- The San Antonio Spurs brought over Argentina SG Manu Ginobili after his incredible performance in the 2002 FIBA World Cup. So far, the Argentina rookie is averaging 13.9 PPG and 6.4 APG.

Re: An NBA 2K16 Association Sim Using 2001-02 Rosters
November 6, 2002-November 12, 2002 Recap
Eastern Conference Player of the Week
Miami Heat C Alonzo Mourning (1)
Western Conference Player of the Week
Seattle SuperSonics PG Gary Payton (1)
Stories of the Week- Alonzo Mourning and Gary Payton won Player of the Week awards for their conferences.
- Indiana Pacers Star C Jermaine O'Neal is out 4-6 months with a Spinal Injury. Very similar to the injury Paul Pierce suffered towards the end of last season.
- There are no more undefeated teams in the NBA. However, there is one winless team, that is the Los Angeles Clippers (0-9).
- Three teams didn't lose a game this week. Those teams are the: Golden State Warriors (4-0), Sacramento Kings (3-0), and Cleveland Cavaliers (2-0).
- Four teams didn't win a game this week. Those teams are the Los Angeles Clippers (0-4), Milwaukee Bucks (0-3), New Orleans Pelicans (0-3), and the Washington Wizards (0-2).
- In the 2002 NBA Draft, the Clippers traded away their 2017 1st Round Pick to the Denver Nuggets. Well, if the season ended today, the Nuggets would have the best shot at the #1 Pick in the 2003 NBA Draft since the Clippers are a league worse 0-9.
- The Spurs lost longtime, star Center David Robinson in the off-season to a division rival, the New Orleans Hornets. Even without Robinson, the Spurs are still the top team in the West and tied with the Boston Celtics (8-2) for the best record in the NBA.
