    Where Will HC Joslin Go?

Miami HC Joslin fresh off his Super Bowl win is considering moving on. Reportedly he has received interest from:

    Bears 5-11
OLB K. Rivers, RG Leonard Davis, FS A. Woods, MLB J. Sonnier, CB Nathan Vasher

    Cardinals 1-15
DT A Weaver, LT T Hart, DT D Roe, RE O. Umenyiora, RT L. Brown

    Chargers 3-13
LT M. McNeil, QB P. Rivers, P M. Scifres, RT B. Price, LG K. Dielman

    Falcons 5-11
    DT J. Boone, C W. Yanda

    Raiders 7-9
LT N. Erickson, RE C. Long, OLB T. Howard, RT B. McGhee

    Steelers 3-13
    RG S. Burke, C S. Satele, LG S. Andrews

As in past moves, HC Joslin would inherit a coaching staff.

Saw a good bit of advice about intalling HC 09 to your hard drive to reduce load times and prevent lockups...since I've experienced my share of lockups...and hate the load times...I'm going to give it a try to see if it does improve gameplay.

        New HC in Arizona!

Coach Joslin has decided to join the Arizona Cardinals who were a miserable 1-15 last season and have never won a Super Bowl.

        Around the League

Bears hire former Steelers HC Mike Tomlin after firing Eric Mangini.

Former Bears HC Eric Mangini continues his tour of the NFL as the Falcons HC.

Former Dallas HC Wade Phillips takes over in San Diego after HC Joe Philbin retires. Phillips bring friend and longtime Dallas coach Dave Campo to be his OC.

OC Jason Garrett is promoted to HC in Dallas (funny how art imitates life isn't it?)

Miami flirts with the idea of hiring HC Jon Gruden, but settles on Norv Turner...will the Dolphins become a running team?

Former St. Louis and Carolina HC Mike Martz returns to the NFL as the Steelers new coach. Smath Mouth to Spread...there are going to be some big changes in Pittsburgh.

Jets HC General Sanders posts his best season yet, earning 6 wins, matching the total # of wins from the last 4 seasons combined. It was of course still a sub 500 season with the Jets finishing 6-10. Sanders remains popular with the Jets owner, who maintains that HC Sanders is doing OK.

QB Verdell Harrison 82/84 battles with Matt Leinart 81/81 for the starting job

          HB Darby Miles 87/91

          FB none

WR Larry Fitzgerald 87/87, Sleepy Barton 79/86

TE Byron Ware 72/74...not much of a blocker, so he isn't a good fit

          LT Tyler Hart 94/94

LG Howard Smith 81/81 decent, but hope to do better

          C Lee Connor 84/84

          K Shaun Suisham 82/82

P Jason Baker 79/84- look for Baker to be cut or traded as HC Joslin still holds a grudge from the Panthers/Bucs playoff game.

            Cardinals Coaching Staff

            HC Joslin 64- I'm a keeper
OC Kippy Brown 52-not great, but he has enough special skills to be workable.
            DC Ted Cottrell 76- solid
STC Trent Kirkhoff 32-preformance needs to be moved to 3 as soon as possible, then he's workable.
QBC Dan Tunney 46-Horrible QBC with development of 1, but potential to go to 5's in performance, playcall, strategy and chemistry? -what was he before he was a QBC?
RBC Lorenzo Westbrook 46-solid RBC, not great, but workable...somehow he has Improved Carrying Skill without the prerequisites.
WRC Mel Benjamin 42-performance of 1 means he's gone at the end of the year.
OLC Steve Lindsay 14-all developmental skills and performance at 1...this guy is going to get canned.
LBC Johnny Holland 66-needs to get his performance up to 3, but he'll work
DBC Rodney Harrison 28- loved him as a player, never going to anything but a DBC but he'll definitely work
DLC Eric Oregon 59-love the special skills, and once I get his performance up to 3 he'll be okay
GM Ted Baldwin 96- needless to say this guy is awesome, but lacks the scouting skills I like to see...I guess I need to earn him some skill points.
Trainer Garviin Poujade 65- decent but nothing special

                  Cardinals Draft Recap

I tried to trade my picks away as Arizona is in terrible shape in regards to the Salary Cap. I got stuck with a few picks though.

1/8 traded out of #1, but got stuck at 8 and picked RE Xavier Franklin, the fastest DE in the draft, but turns out to be a bust OVR 80/84...we'll see what he does on the field

2/24 WR Andre Boston, needed WRs OVR 74/88

3/4 LT Alex Cameron, OL is weak, OVR 73/84

4/7 DT Evan Wilkins, already set at DT but best guy on the board, OVR 82/88

4/22 CB Corey Palmer, taking some shots in the dark trying to find a decent corner OVR 67, cut during training camp

4/24 MLB Dan Lucas, what can I say...hard to pass on MLB's from VMI, OVR 81/86 sad to say, but arguably the best LB on my roster

4/25 WR Marshall Hutton...he has 99's in SPD, ACL, AGL...could be great, OVR 63, cut during training camp

4/27 CB Neal Robertson, another DB fishing expedition OVR 76/84...he's not great but neither are my other DBs...he makes the team

5/21 SS Bryant Miles, DB fishing OVR 70, cut during training camp

5/30 HB Samardo Fellows, took a shot on the HB compared to Jamal Lewis, OVR 80/85

6/3 K Vincent Snaderson, looks to be our K and P, since Punter Jason Baker mysteriously retired before the draft. OVR 83/94

7/31 DT Twan Reed, OVR 82/89 too good to pass on even if I don't really need a DT

                  No Undrafted Free Agents

Not a great draft, but I was able to pickup some familiar faces and 1yr veterans in Free Agency

FB Reagan Mauia and Kory Hall both former players

WR James Jones and Clyde Kirby were cut by their former teams due to salary, and signed 1yr deals with me.

TE Ovie Mughelli and Thurman McCormack reunite with their former coach

C Dan Koppen joins HC Joslin in Arizona

DE Derrick Burgess and Leonard Little want a ring, so they come to Arizona for cheap

OLB Emmanuel Bradford rejoins his former coach

CB Eric Wright cut for salary cap reasons joins the Cardinals

FS Aundre Nash rejoins his former coach

                      2015 Preseason

HC Joslin posts his worst preseason record going 1-3, does this bode well for the Cardinals?

One thing becomes clear over the preseason, QB Matt Leinart, despite having the physical tools...will not be leading the Cardinals. He just can't run the offense, so QB Verdell Harrison gets his chance to shine.

Oddly enough the GM in Miami had wanted HC Joslin to trade for Harrison last year.

last minute TD sends the Colts to the Super Bowl yet again. The Colts always seem to get the better of HC Hal Openheimer and the Pats.

                            Buccaneers 29
                            Cardinals 34
HC Joslin meets HC Gruden in the Confernce Championship. There is no love lost between these two head coaches, and HC Joslin is only too happy to end the Buccaneers Super Bowl dream. After the game HC Jon Gruden announced he will not be returning to the Buccaneers. Where will he end up?
DC Monte Kiffin was promoted to replace Gruden.

HC Joslin faces HC Dungy in the Super Bowl yet again. The Colts won the 2009 Super Bowl, battled HC Joslin and the Panthers in 2010, losing, losing again in 2011 to Joslin and the Panthers, and now they face eachother again. Can Coach Dungy win this time around?

                              The Super Bowl

                              Cardinals vs. Colts

                              Colts 0/0/7/15 = 22
                              Cardinals 3/21/14/3= 41

The Cardinals put this one out of reach before the half, with the Colts led by QB Matt Schaub being unable to get anything going.

ARI QB Verdell Harrison threw for 426yds and 4 TDs before turing it over to backup QB Matt Leinart.

Coach Joslin wins his 6th consecutive Super Bowl with his 3rd Team (2 with CAR, 3 with MIA, 1 with ARI)

                                Cardinal Coaching Changes

QBC Dan Tunney released...replaced by Matt Brownfield

WRC Mel Benjamin released...replaced by Anthony Dubb of Memphis

OLC Steve Lindsey released...replaced by former NFL QB Kurt Warner...when asked about the unconventional hire, HC Joslin had this to say "There really wasn't anyone else out there...we hope Kurt can step up and do the job...hopefully as a former NFL QB he'll have some insights as to what a QB needs from his line."

                                Around the League

Dave Toub takes over as the new HC of the Bears

Sean Payton is hired by the Bengals as their new HC

TB makes it official handing the reigns over to DC Monte Kiffin. HC Gruden plans on working for ESPN.

Dolphins fire Norv Turner, who somehow manages to get another HC job, this time with the Saints. Miami promotes OC Russ Grimm to be their new HC (2nd Joslin Coaching Tree HC)

Falcons ditch Eric Mangini and replace him with Mike Tomlin.

Saints dump a winner in Sean Payton and go with a proven loser in Norv Turner.
