Bears 2009 Final Regular Season Stats

Just a couple notes-I ignored the 20 + rec stats because we don't have that in HC. Same with assisted tackles. I put force fumbles in the PD(pass deflection) category'

I'm definately following this dynasty! Looks like you shouldn't have too much trouble in the playoffs but there are some pretty good teams out there.

On a side note: How do you do those tables? As they look really nice

Go to the Dynasty bar at the top of the page, click on dynasty table generators, and then pick the table you want to use on the right. There are some new tables out now for injury report and draft recap, and there should be some soon for awards.

                Divisional Round

I won't have a lot to say in this post. The Eagles defense sacked my QB 8 times, my RT Trumaine Stalling was beat 3 times. I had the Eagles backed up on their 1 yd line, and Westbrook broke free for a 100 yd TD. Despite all this, Woodson was able to tie the game with 8 seconds left in regulation. The goat in overtime is Robbie Gould. He missed 3 FGs, 2 FGs in overtime, 1 on the 15 yard line!!!!! I lost in overtime to the Eagles 17-14.He's history after this game. I'll trade him and see what I can get. Focusing on the offensive line will be a big focus in the next draft. On the plus side, I'll have a chance to see if there are any better position coaches to be hired this time around.

                Division:

                Texans 23, Colts 13
                Eagles 17, Bears 14 (OT)
                Broncos 24, Patriots 6
                Giants 27, Buccaneers 24.

                  Rest of Playoffs-Coaching Changes

                  Playoffs:

                  Conference:

                  Broncos 27, Texans 24
                  Giants 24, Eagles 23

                  Super bowl-Giants 31, Broncos 28

                  My coaching changes-

                  DC-
I fired DC Pepper Johnson. I saw the Eagles released Jim Johnson, so I fired Pepper and hired DC Jim Johnson. Strategy only goes to 3, all other skills go to 5. Learning and Physical Development cap at 4, all other developmental skills go to 5. He's got all the defense special skills except the last one and Coverage Analysis. Somehow he's got the more advanced DB skills without getting Coverage Analysis. He's also got Ambition.

RBC-I wanted control of my FB philosophy back, so I fired RBC Tom Rathman(he ended up as STC of the Colts). RBC Stump Mitchell was available and he's almost as good as Rathman, so I hired him. Playcall goes to 3, Team Chemistry to 4, and all else to 5. He starts with the Running Back Discipline special skill.

OLC-There were some other options to Cobble. It was a possibility the Texans might release Alex Gibbs, but they turned out not to. Dan Tunney was also available as a OLC. He's a better OLC than anyting else, but Learning Development only going to 2 was a big drawback.

Trainer-I was a bit disappointed with all the injuries this year, so I fired Arron Lee. The Bengals had released Wyman, so I hired him. All skills are maxed at 5, he's got the first 2 special skills and 6000 points to the 10,000 point special skill.

                  Other Coaching Changes:

Eagles-Andy Reid left, so the Eagles hired Bob Sanders as their head coach. They had lost DC Jim Johnson, so they hired my former DC Pepper Johnson.

Jets-hired Lane Kiffin as their DLC.

                  Vikings-hired DBC John Lynch

                  49ers-hired QBC Josh Looman

                  Falcons-hired OLC Dan Tunney

Panthers-hired Robin Matthews as their LBC.

                  Redskins-hired DLC Tim Spangler

Texans-hired my former trainer Arron Lee.

Colts-As mentioned before, hired Tom Rathman as their STC.

                      2010 Zazzali Draft Guide

I'm now going to post a Draft guide for the 2010 Zazzali Draft. Learning 1st, Balanced potential second. I must be getting lazy because I didn't include comparisons in this draft. I will include school, though. Spoiler tags for those who don't want this information. I'm only including potentials greater than 85.

                        2010 Zazzali Draft-Round 1

Going to list how round 1 went now. I'm using tables, so I can't list al the trades like I used to. I will mention I traded DT Dre Moore to get the 1-17 pick. There was an elite DT in the Run Stopper philosophy, so I felt safe in making that move.

                            2010 Training Camp

                            Rookie Signings

Signed RT Jeremy Lincoln to 5 year, 15.1 million deal, 2.5 million signing bonus

Signed DT Duane Russell to 5 yr, 10.2 million deal, 2.0 million SB. He's a great fit for my system; he's got a 96 potential in the Run Stopper philosophy. Drafting him made Moore expendable.

Signed C Lance Friberg to 4 year, 3.5 million dollar deal, 500K SB.

Traded C Jeremy Dahl to the Broncos for 2011 2nd.

Traded RT Trumaine Stalling to the Dolphins for their 2011 2nd.

                            Season Goals:

                            Sign WR Aundray Bender

Increase Lance Friberg's Play Knowledge to 25 %

                            Increase Jeremy Lincoln's PK to 25 %

                            Increase Jessie Barbour's PK to 25 %

                            Add 10 New Plays

                            Don't Draft a Bust

I signed WR Aundray Bender to a 5 year, 14.6 million dollar deal, 2.5 million SB-met goal.

I couldn't trade Gould, so i cut him. I also released the S. F. Austin QB out of his RFA contract to sign him to a 1 year deal; I want to extend him to a 6 year deal this year.

                            Further Season Goals:

                            Play Lance Friberg 50 downs

                            Play Jeremy Lincoln 50 downs

                            Play Jessie Barbour 50 downs

I'm at the first preseason game; I'll play the 1st preseason game until I get both playbooks mastered.

I'll have a lot of the 2008 draftees becoming RFAs after this year, and I've got a problem. It's turning out that the 2008 draftees are better players than I've seen so far on the Zazzali path at certain positions-WR, OLB, CB, and especially safety. I can't re-sign everyone, but I also need to make sure I can draft suitable replacements. It's for this reason I'll need to re-sign Urlacher this year, there simply aren't a lot of Pro-Bowl potential OLB on the Zazzali path so far.
