I appreciate that. I've thought of re-starting more than once, but I've gone too far with this one to do it now. I'd really like to go 15 years in this one.

        2010-Game 1-Giants at Bears

It was the turnovers that did NY in. They moved the ball well, both on the ground and in the air, but they fell short. They only got in the red zone once, and they turned the ball over 6 times. The statement of the game was when Manning threw the ball, Brian Urlacher caught it and returned it for a TD. The Bears beat the Giants 42-7.

          Game 2-Bears at Packers

I'm going to have a dominating year on defense. DC Jim Johnson has all the defense SS except the block shed one, and it shows on the field. This will give me an edge against good teams, as my defense can now score defensive touchdowns.

On with the game-I had 4 defensive touchdowns off INT's, and that changed the whole complexion of the game. RT Mark Tauscher was also victimized 6 times by my defense for a sack, 5 by Giddins. The one disappointment I had during the game was my inability to run the ball; I kept getting thrown for a loss. I beat the Packers 52-3. Vasher had 2 INT TD's and was named Defensive Player of the Week.

Coach upgrades-HC-Speed Training, Strength Training, and Disciplined Routine, LBC-Hard Hit Training.

            Game 3-Jets at Bears

The Jets got things off to a good start with a 50 yd TD strike by Drew Thompson to start the game, but that was as good as things went. Darren McFadden tied up the game with a 98 yd kickoff return TD. McFadden had a big game with 100 yds rushing, 70 yds receiving, and that kickoff TD.Vasher had a monster game with 3 INTs, but somehow that wasn't good enough for Defensive Player of the Week. Sanrick Raines also had 2 INTs and Brian Urlacher added a sack and INT. The Jets stayed with me for a awhile though, and I expect them to be good in a couple of years. I beat the Jets 34-7.

              Game 4-Bears at Lions

The one problem I'm having this year is my inability to run the ball. McFadden gets thrown for a loss almost as much as he gets a positive gain. I have to run the ball 30 + times to get a 100 yd game with him. Now to the game-the Lions played a good game, and didn't beat themselves. Pennington did throw a INT to Raines in the end zone, but they still played a good game. I beat the Liions 38-3.

Coach upgrades-RBC-Improved Ball Carrier Moves, DBC-Speed Training, GM-Contract Negotiation 4.

The next game will be against the Bucs-that will tell me how good I really am.

                Game 5-Buccaneers at Bears

The one thing I'll say about this game is there was just no defense at all. Both teams went up and down the field at will, and I was lucky to keep the Bucs to 28 points. The Bucs QB put up nearly 400 yds passing against my DBs. Fortunately, Woodson and Mcfadden both had good games and Raines added 2 defensive TDs. I beat the Bucs 59-28. Sanrick Raines was named Defensive Player of the Week.

                Re-signings

                1. Re-signed LOLB Brian Urlacher to 3 year, 20.1 million deal with 3.5 million signing bonus-met goal.

                2. Re-signed P Shane Lechler to 3 year, 4.8 million deal, 500K signing bonus-met goal.

                  Game 6-Lions at Bears

I got tired of seeing backup OLB get 7 TFL a game against McFadden, so I've made some adjustment to my sliders. I moved Run Block to 80 and defensive awareness to 32. I did a test run, and it seemed to do well. It's a work in progress, though.

Now to the Lions. They always shut down my running game, they play good defense, and they don't beat themselves. If they ever were to get a franchise QB and a good coaching staff, I'd be worried. I saw something in this game I don't see a lot of-the Lions kicker missed a extra point. I beat the Lions 36-9.

I won't say a lot on the Packers game. Gino King had a memorable game with 2 sacks and a INT TD. I beat the Packers 48-7. They're improving, but they still have a ways to go. Gino King was named Defensive Player of the Week.

                      Game 8- Bears at Redskins

A simply dominating game by my team. My defense picked off 6 passes by Jason Campbell; he actually did better running the ball. Darren McFadden had a breakout game, gathering 170 yds on the ground(including a 50 yd run). I had a good pass rush, including a career high 3 sacks by Calais Campell. Nathan Vasher picked off 3 passes, and already has 10 INT's. I beat the Redskins 51-0. Nathan Vasher was named Defensive Player of the Week.

Contract notes-Alex Webb the backup QB is being really difficult on contract talks. We're both Commander personalities, but I can't get a rookie making 290K to agree to Offer 1. I won't be able to re-sign Woodson, so I'll need a replacement QB in the short term.

                        Game 9-Bears at Bills

The Bills are currently leading their division, so I thought this one might be a challenge. I didn't have any more trouble with them, as I rolled to a 52-9 victory. Campbell and King had 2 sacks apiece, Kenny Phillips returned a INT for a TD, and Hester added a KR TD. Darren McFadden was named Offensive Player of the Week.

My DC Jim Johnson is the main reason why. He has all the defensive special skills, and you can see it on the field. I've been seeing a lot of defensive TDs, and it's been turning competitive games into blowouts. I'll also mention Performance is very powerful in this game. My HC has it at 5, OC at 4, DC at 5, and all the position coaches have it at least 3. I might consider adjusting the sliders after the season to make things harder. I lost last season in the 1st playoff game, so I want to see how I do in the playoffs before I make any changes. I'm currently using Ebongreen's most recent slider set.

                              Game 10-Vikings at Bears

I had a competitive divison game in this one. The scoring pretty much ended after the 1st quarter, so it was good I got out to a 21-7 lead. The Vikings pass rush did a good job of disrupting my passing game, and also a good job of keeping me out of the end zone. A Vasher INT TD was critical to me winning this one. It didn't help that Bironas missed 3 FG attempts. I beat the Vikings 27-9. I'll face the Eagles next. It's amazing to me that the Eagles have gone 0-10 since they lost in the conference game. I suppose they do miss Andy Reid and Jim Johnson.

Coach upgrades-RBC-Speed Training. DT Duane Russel has recovered from his injury, and will play in the Eagles game.

                                Game 11- Bears at Eagles

The Eagles always give me fits, no matter their record. I had to make a strong push at the end to pull this one out. One of the big factors in the game was McNabb being injured and missing most of the 2nd Half except the last drive. Another one was McFadden's 52 yd TD run with 2 minutes left in the game. I beat the Eagles 25-14. Nathan Vasher was named Defensive Player of the Week. Campbell notched his 10th sack and Vasher his 15th INT.
