    2009 Season-Game 8-Seahawks 57, Rams 7

Sorry about the kicker vent-that part of the game has been a bit frustrating so far this season.

Not much difference from the last time we played them. Devin Mayo was a good pick for them this year, but they'll need to do a bit of work in St. Louis to improve a bit more.We finished the first half 8-0, one of three teams with a perfect record-K.C. and Indianapolis are the others.

Calais Campbell still hasn't returned to the negotiating table since the first week. I hope it's possible to still re-sign him.

    OPOW-QB Dane Morrow-19-26-329-4 pass TDs.

      2009 Mid-season Leaders

Ok, here's the stat leaders at the halfway point. I'm not sure why Roddy White is doing so well. I checked the OC and it's Brian Schottenheimer-not a big pass oc, or so I thought. Maybe it's a career year.Walter-Hammerhill is his coach.

        2009 Dynasty-Game 9- Seahawks 42, Lions 10

It was a game in which both defenses were just way ahead of both offenses. Dane Morrow had a night to forget as he threw 7 INts and 0 Tds. The good thing for the Seahawks is they managed to return their opponent mistakes for TDs, while keeping the Lions out of the end zone for the most part.

Coach Smith said later-"Our offense just has had trouble dealing with the Cover 2 and its ability to cause turnovers. It's just something we're going to have to adjust to, because we're likely to see quite a lot of it the rest of the season and in the playoffs."

NFL note-Ravens WR Derrick Mason-10,000 career rec yds.

        CU-HC-Int Dev LB 3, DC-Lrn Dev LB 4, LBC-Phys Dev LB 3, DLC-Int Dev DL 4.

DPOW-FS Prince Justin, 7 tackles, 2 fum rec TDs, i INT TD.

          2009 Season-Game 10-Seahawks 45, Bucs 10

The Bucs kept it close for three quarters, but we put it away in the fourth quarter. Campbell had a big game with 7 sacks. He's done plenty to earn that extension-IF he comes back to the bargaining table. If not, I'll look to sign him in FA.

          DPOW-LE Calais Campbell-8 tackles, 7 sacks.

            2009 Season-Game 11- Seahawks 26, 49ers 6

I felt the 49ers played very good defense in this game, especially with pass defense. It wasn't enough for them to avoid us clinching the division at home however, and we're playoff bound for the second straight year.

              2009 Season-Game 12-Seahawks 23, Titans 10

A very closely matched and clean game all over. Very few penalties, no turnovers, and each offense had one TD. The difference really was the special teams TD by Bellows and my kicker made 2 more FGs than their kicker did. A good team and one I'll watch closely to see if they make the playoffs and what they do in it.

                2009 Season-Game 13-Seahawks 48, Cardinals 29

I'll give them this-the Cardinals played with a lot of heart in this game-playing it down to the last minute. If they play like this in the future, they could be a .500 team next year. The Colts are up next-both 13-0 teams will meet each other to determine bragging rights for the season.

                  2009 Season-Game 14- Seahawks 24, Colts 17

Very close game-one play was the difference. Morrow threw a pass, the Colt defender went for an INT and came up with air, and Bennett took it to the house. Addai was on IR and they had their third string back in, but they still had a decent running game.

SS Kenny Phillips-10th INT of season.

                  INJ-MLB Darrell Collier-2 weeks.

LE Nolan Reed-back spasms from violently sneezing
3 week injury but healed after 1 week.

It's just going to be a long rebuilding project in Chicago. They have a franchise quarterback, now build around him. I won't be surprised to see a change in coaching staff, either.

                      2009 Season-Game 16- Seahawks 26, Texans 6

The Houston Texans were the last team that stood a chance of halting our regular season march to perfection. Their defense did a good job, but their inability to score TDs meant that they would come up a bit short in that respect.

I've also changed my mind somewhat on the advanced GM skills. 1st Round Intuition is still off the table, but not Draft Intuition or maybe even Potential Intuition.

                                2009 Season-NFC Divisional Game-Packers 20, Seahawks 17

I think I'll just crawl off to a corner and gnaw a limb off or something!. It's not quite that bad-but close.

We had the one TD lead right around the three minute mark late in the fourth quarter. Serna missed an easy FG to avoid putting us up 10 points, Leron James fumbled in the rain and the Packers tied it up with the good field position, and then the following punt was a bit short. The Packers kicked the winning FG, and that was that. I really thought this was a Super Bowl team, and going out like that is a bit of a downer. All credit goes to the Packers for top-notch defense.

I'll post the initial coaching changes and playoff games, the rest will wait for tomorrow in an edit. Approval drop from 98 to 61 will make the rest of the playoff period a bit complicated.
