    2011 Season- Game 5-Seahawks 45, Cowboys 21

The Dallas Cowboys held a significant advantage in their team having possession of the ball, but our team's offense held the advantage in TDs-5 to 2 to the Cowboys, and that was all that was needed for the margin of victory.

    OPOW-WR Earl Bennett-9-125, 3 receiving TDs.

      2011 Season-Game 6-Seahawks 58 Cardinals 3

I blocked a punt and returned it for a TD!!!Oh happy day!!

Not something that happens a lot so it's worth celebrating. I gave Mitch Palmer an extension for that blocked punt. Calais Campbell also passed a a career milestone with his 100th career sack.

As for the Cardinals, not much new has changed other than they now have Quincy Sims on their roster.

Gameplay changes-It's been much harder to pass the ball this year, teams seem to have made that adjustment for the most part. Interceptions seem to be down, fumbles a bit up. Less touchdowns, a few more FGs.

DPOW-FS Prince Justin-7 tackles, INT TD.

Re-signing-MLB Mitch Palmer-5 years, 11.3 million, 2.0 million signing bonus.

Very good game by the Giants, but the turnovers really hurt them.

          2011 Season-Game 8-Seahawks 52, Eagles 10

I went back and checked to see if Jim Johnson had retired, because this squad didn't play as good a run defense as the Eagles normally do. My analysis of the two teams is that the Giants might beat me in the playoffs, but I don't have any concerns about beating the Eagles.

              2011 Season-Game 9- Seahawks 40, Cardinals 14

The Cardinals defense did seem a bit improved, particularly in the first half, but we were able to separate ourselves from them considerably in the 2nd half.

                2011 Season-Game 10-Seahawks 45, Browns 28

Well-we got out of Cleveland with the win-but it wasn't pretty. Our defense just seemed to implode in the 4th quarter-especially the run defense-and our offense played just well enough to pick up the slack. We'll need to do better when we reach the playoffs.

                  2011 Season-Game 11-Seahawks 51, Steelers 10

It was only 14-10 when Leron James scored a 76 yd TD run on the last play of the 2nd quarter. That seemed to really spark our offense, as the Seahawks went on to score 30 additional points.

It seemed poetic that Patrick Kerney would pass the 100 sack milestone against his former team. I suppose some players can produce despite being a bit limited on the health side.

I never thought Brandon Marshall would be a bigger threat on returns than as a receiver, but that was the case in this game. It's an element they'll need with Mike Martz gone from San Francisco. It wasn't enough to overcome their turnovers and their inability to play defense in this game.

                    OPOW-QB Dane Morrow-26-49-507-6 pass TDs.

NFL milestone-LE Patrick Kerney-100 career sacks.

We hit the triple digits in scoring and made this a statement game. I don't have any explanations other than the Vikes defense just never showed up for the game.

                      OPOW-QB Dane Morrow-26-43-471-8 pass TDs, 2 INTs.

I'm at a loss to explain our high scoring in the 4th quarter the last few games. It could be teams cycling in their backups after they think the game is lost, or just taking advantage of a tired defense. Either way, we're playing on all cylinders as we get ready to enter the playoffs again.

                        OPOW-QB Dane Morrow-28-46-526-7 pass TDs.

                          2011 Season-Game 15-Seahawks 43, Ravens 14

Not a fun game for our offense. Morrow was always under threat of a sack as there was a total mismatch between our offensive line and their defense-to their advantage. Still, we managed to keep ahead sufficiently to come away with the win.

CU-GM-Pot Eval QB 5. (GM now maxed out, as I will not get the last special skill.)

                            2011 Season-Game 16-Seahawks 29, Redskins 17

The Redskins had a very good game plan and it just about worked. Keep a significant advantage in TOP, play good defense while we are on the field, and don't beat themselves with turnovers. The only thing keeping them from winning the game was their inability to score the first 58 minutes in the game, and we managed to overcome their defense as a result of it.

                              2011 Awards and Pro Bowlers

Seattle Pro Bowlers first, then the Awards table. I was a bit surprised that Selvin Lankford won the OL award, but it bears out my assumption that the best teams win awards, the best players get named to the Pro Bowl.

                              Pro Bowl.
