Wolverines Devour Black Knights, 79-48
Coming off a pretty good showing against the Irish, Army heads up to the Crisler Arena in Ann Arbor, Michigan to take on the nationally ranked Michigan Wolverines.
First Half
Harris leads Michigan on an 8-3 run to begin the game then Sewell and Brown hit jumpers to cut the deficit in half. After a layup by Abram and a jumper by Smith, the Wolverines lead by 8, 12-4, with 15:00 remaining. Smith and Harris lead Michigan on a 10-2 run as they open the lead up. A jumper by Harris puts the Wolverines now up by 18, 24-6, halfway through the first half. Sewell taps in a shot and Sinning puts in a layup as Army tries to come back but a hook shot by Petway and a layup by Courtney Sims gets the points back. Jumpers by Sinning and Brown chip at the Wolverines' lead but after Harris sinks a 3-pointer, Michigan is up by 15, 31-16, with 5:00 left. Harris continues his hot play and leads Michigan on an 8-3 run. After a free throw by Bates and a 3-pointer by DeShawn Sims, Marshall Jackson puts in a layup as the Wolverines lead by 20 at the half. Michigan's Dion Harris leads all scorers with 17 points and Brown leads the Black Knights with 6.
Second Half
Bell Sinks a jumper and a 3-pointer in leading Army on a 7-3 run to cut the deficit to 16. After a trade of baskets, Corutney Sims puts in a hook shot to give Michigan an 18 point lead, 49-31, with just under 15:00 remaining. The Wolverines start to pour it on as a tip in and a short runner by Petway sparks them on a 12-0 run. Shepherd puts in a layup on a fast break and now Michigan leads by 30, 61-31, midway through the second half. The teams are going basket for basket and after a jumper by Bell, Michigan's lead is now 29, 71-42, with 5:00 left. The teams trade a few baskets and Price finishes the game with a monsterous dunk as the Wolverines blow out the Black Knights.

Pioneers Trip Black Knights, 71-61
The Army Black Knights head back home to Christl Arena to host the Sacred Heart Pioneers in the next-to-last non-conference game of the season.
First Half
Both teams struggle for points in the early going as the teams only trade a couple of baskets. After Bates sinks 1 of 2 free throws, the game is tied 5-5 with 15:00 remaining. Brown hits a 3-pointer then Shubik leads Sacred Heart on an 11-0 run. A jumper by Bell stops the run as the Pioneers lead by six, 16-10, just past the halfway point through the first half. Bell nails a 3-pointer then Sacred Heart goes on a 9-2 run, all on 3-pointers to build their lead to ten. Brown stops the run with a jumper and cuts the Pioneers' lead to 8, 25-17, with 5:00 left. Both teams catch fire and are going basket for basket and after a jumper by Brown with under ten seconds to go, the Pioneers lead by 6 at the half. Shubik leads Sacred Heart with 16 points and Brown also leads Army with 16 points.
Second Half
Both teams struggle after the break. The teams trade baskets then Potter banks in a short jumper for Sacred Heart and Sinning hits a 3-pointer to cut the Pioneers' lead to 5, 40-35, with 15:00 remaining. The teams trade 3-pointers and jumpers then Hobson puts in 1 of 2 free throws. After Shubik and Brown trade 3-pointers, Sacred Heart leads by six, 49-43, midway through the second half. Brown puts in a layup then Shubik and Hobson lead the Pioneers on a 9-2 run. Brown stops the run with a 3-pointer and a layup then Hardy sinks a 3-pointer to give Sacred Heart a 9 point lead, 61-52, with just under 5:00 left. The teams are going basket for basket as Sacred Heart holds off the Black Knights.

The Black Knights continue to run as Bell and Thompson lead the team on an 12-2 run as Army ups it's lead to 20, 37-17, with 5:00 left. The teams trade baskets then Giovacchini leads the Big Green on an 8-2 run as they cut the Army's lead to 14 at the half. Army's Brown leads all scorers with 23 points and Biber leads Dartmouth with 7.
Second Half
Sanders leads Dartmouth on an 8-3 run to begin the second half. Sinning stops the run with a jumper as Army leads by 11, 46-35, with 15:00 remaining. The Black Knights go on a 7-3 run then Mosley leads the Big Green on a 9-0 run to cut Army's lead down to 6. Brown hits a 3-pointer to stop the run and put Army's lead back up to 9, 56-47, midway through the second half. Both teams start to heat up as Sanders leads Dartmouth's come bacl as they cut Army's lead back to 6. Thompson sinks two 3-pointers and puts in a layup as he leads the Black Knights on an 8-2 run to push the lead back up to 12, 72-60, with just under 5:00 left. The Big Green goes on a 6-2 run before Bates hits two free throws to stop the run. Fitzgerald puts in a hook shot and Brown ends the game by burying a 3-pointer to cap the Black Knights' win.

Black Knights Outlast Raiders, 74-64
With the non-conference part of the schedule finished, the Army Black Knights open their Patriot League schedule by heading to the Cotterell Court in Hamilton, NY to take on the Colgate Raiders.
First Half
Colgate's Roemer hits a jumper then Jarell Brown leads Army on a 12-2 run. Daniels stops the run by hitting a hook shot from a few feet away and the Black Knights lead by 4, 10-6, with 15:00 remaining. The Raiders get baskets from Daniels and Roemer before Army goes on a 5-2 run. After layups by Roemer and Woodhouse, Jarell Brown sinks a 3-pointer to put the Black Knights back up by 4, 18-14, halfway through the first half. The teams trade a couple of baskets then Jarell Brown nails a 3-pointer. After a layup by Kyle Chones and another 3-pointer by Jarell Brown, Army increases it's lead to 8, 28-20, with 5:00 left. A jumper by Vinson and a layup by Kyle Chones puts Colgate to within four. The Black Knights go on a 6-0 run and after the layup by Bell with a second to go, Army goes into halftime with a ten point lead. Army's Brown leads all scorers with 18 points while Roemer leads Colgate with 8.
Second Half
Daniels leads Colgate on a 12-2 run to start the second half and tie the game. A jumper by Bell stops the run and puts Army in front by two, 38-36, with 15:00 remaining. A 6-2 run by the Raiders gives them the lead then Brown leads the Black Knights on a 9-2 run. Morse puts in a jumper and Brown sinks a 3-pointer then Colgate gets jumpers from Simon and Woodhouse to keep the Raiders within two, 52-50, midway through the second half. The teams trade baskets then Sewell leads Army on an 8-2 run and after his turnaround jumper, the Black Knights are up by 8, 62-54 with 5:00 left. Colgate goes on a 7-0 run before a jumper by Bell stops the run and starts Army on a 7-0 run of their own. Roemer hits a 3-pointer then Sinning sinks two clutch free throws. Bell caps the game with a 3-pointer to provide the Black Knights with a ten point win.
