House Rules - recruiting
No redshirts.
Will not recruit players over 300 lbs or over 6'7".
Academic Prestige must always be pitched to players no matter their interest.
A recruit must have average or greater interest in Academic Prestige. A combination of other interests, high awareness, and high interest in Air Force may make up for a low AcPrstg interest on a recruit by recruit basis.
Low awareness players will not be recruited (cannot be lower than a C, unless the recruit has AF in the top 3 schools and is very interested in academic prestige).
Non pipeline recruits must express interest in Air Force (AF must be on their list of schools).
3*** and above recruits must have AF in their top 6 schools(to be refined if AF attains 3 *** school status)
House Rules - gameplay
No pitching the ball beyond 3 to 5 yards of the LOS when running the option.
No pitching the ball when the QB is wrapped up and going down. If the pitch is made by mistake when wrapped up the runner must go out of bounds within 3-5 yards of the LOS if not stopped for a loss.
FG kicks must be made with a single movement on the stick for adjusting height/direction. No fine tuning the kick arrow. Same for punts.
No calling the same pass play twice in a single drive. Will try to avoid calling the same pass play twice in the same half.
Playing as a LB with little to no switching during the play on defense.

The United States Air Force Academy, located immediately north of Colorado Springs in El Paso County, Colorado, United States, is an institution for the undergraduate education of officers for the United States Air Force.
The Air Force Academy is among the most selective colleges in the United States. Candidates are judged based on their academic achievement, demonstrated leadership, athletics and character. Cadets pay no tuition, but incur a commitment to serve a number of years in the military service after graduation.
The program at the Academy is guided by its core values of "Integrity First, Service Before Self, and Excellence In All We Do," and based on four "pillars" of excellence: military training, academics, athletics and character development.

What you need to know about the offense:
The Falcons will be running an option oriented offense, but will pass more than previous years. We have a senior quarterback, senior halfback, senior tight end, and senior wide receivers. Most of the offensive line are also seniors.
We will run early to set up the play action and intermediate passing game. Very rarely we will throw deep.
AF will get the ball to Chad Hall as much as possible.
Star of the offense: SR HB Chad Hall - He will line up in the backfield, in the slot, and outside as a wide receiver. He is fast, elusive, and tough.
Player that has to step up and become a star: Senior tight end Travis Dekker. With an increased emphasis on passing, the TE will play a a big role in the offense.
Unsung star on the rise: Sophomore WR Anthony Hemphill. Anthony has great size and speed. Anthony is the slot receiver and will see action mostly on 3rd downs.
Best pro prospect: Sr HB Chad Hall.
Top three all-american candidates: 1) HB Chad Hall, 2) QB Shaun Carney, 3) C Blaine Guenther.
Strength of the offense: Impact quarterback and impact halfback running the option. Short passes into the flat and over the middle.
Weakness of the offense: Offensive line and wide receivers. Shaun Carney will not get much time in the pocket. His receivers will rarely beat the defense deep.
What you need to know about the defense:
Small, without proven backups, and senior heavy. We will have to rely on creative blitzing schemes out of the 3-4 in order to generate pressure. Our undersized defensive line will almost always have help from a blitzing linebacker or two. Where possible we will attack, against superior opponents we will try to keep everything in front of us running cover 3.
Star of the defense: Senior LB Drew Fowler, lead the MWC in tackles last season.
Player that has to step up and become a star: Junior DT Keith Williams. Keith anchors our 3 man line in the middle. He needs to create pressure to free up our linebackers.
Unsung star on the rise: Junior CB Kevin Rivers. Kevin is the nickel corner and will see a lot of action this year. He's fast and a decent tackler.
Best pro prospect: Senior LB Drew Fowler
Top three all-american candidates: 1) LB Fowler, 2) FS Giannini, 3) CB Rybak
Strength of the defense: Fowler stopping the run.
Weakness of the defense: Undersized, tackling and pass coverage ability suspect.
