    As The Regular Season Concludes..

    Conference Updates

    Atlantic Coast

Still the strongest conference in America, the ACC is home to the #1 ranked Tarheels, who were the nations highest ranked team during the entire regular season. Other national powers are in this conference, but none were able to dethrone UNC.

    Top 3

    1. North Carolina (14-7)
    Rashad McCants - 19.1 PPG, 4 APG, 3.7 RPG

    2. Wake Forest (12-4)
    Chris Paul - 14.4 PPG, 4.5 APG

    3. Duke (11-5)
    J.J. Redick - 19.4 PPG, 4 APG, 3.1 RPG

    Big Ten

Another powerful conference, the Big Ten has rebounded after a somewhat disappointed season last year. The conference holds the number 2 ranked team, Illinois, but still lacks firepower after them.

    Top 3

    1. Illinois (14-2)
    Deron Williams - 18 PPG, 5.3 APG, 3.9 RPG

    2. Michigan State (13-3)
    Paul Davis - 16.5 PPG, 3.4 APG, 7.4 RPG

    3. Minnesota (11-5)
    Vincent Grier - 12.3 PPG, 3.1 APG, 4.8 RPG

    Big East

Yet another very strong conference, the Big East is home to three Top 10 teams. Syracuse leads the charge, but the conference tournament is definitely up for grabs..

    Top 3

    1. Syracuse (13-3)
    Hakim Warrick - 17 PPG, 3 APG, 8.3 RPG

    2. Notre Dame (12-4)
    Chris Thomas - 20 PPG, 6 APG

    3. Connecticut (11-5)
    Rashad Anderson - 16.3 PPG, 4 APG, 4 RPG

        Big 12

Although the Big 12 may not be as strong as other conferences in the nation, they are one of the deepest. The talent is evenly distributed throughout the teams, making for some very interesting games.

        Top 3

        1. Kansas (13-3)
        Keith Langford - 18.6 PPG, 5.2 APG, 4.8 RPG

        2. Texas (12-4)
        Kenny Taylor - 14.4 PPG, 3.8 APG

        3. Oklahoma State (11-5)
John Lucas III - 18 PPG, 5.3 APG

        Pacific-10

The West Coast's most powerful conference isn't bad at all, and currently holds one Top 10 team in the nation. Although they're only second in their conference, the Arizona Wildcats are receiving some serious national recognition.

        Top 3

        1. Washington (14-1)
        Nate Robinson - 13.6 PPG, 3.6 APG, 3.8 RPG

        2. Arizona (12-6)
        Channing Frye - 14.5 PPG, 4 APG, 6.4 RPG

        3. UCLA (12-6)
        Cedric Bozeman - 18 PPG, 3 APG, 5.6 RPG

        Conference-USA

Last, but certainly not least, is the Conference-USA. Strong from top to bottom, the C-USA is sure to hold some of the most exciting games every year.

        Top 3

        1. Marquette (14-2)
        Travis Diener - 18.7 PPG, 6.4 APG, 3.6 RPG

        2. Memphis (11-5)
        Sean Banks - 15.3 PPG, 3.5 APG, 6.1 RPG

        3. Charlotte (10-6)
        Curtis Withers - 13 PPG, 3 APG, 5.6 RPG

Kredit, is that correct? Unless the SEC changed it, they used conference tourney seeding from each Division, like E1, W1, E2, W2......thats odd.

It may be set up differently than what I thought, but I couldn't find any East/West standings..

So I just listed out the matchups, and found what they were ranked in the conference overall.

Not that big of a deal, a conference tourney is still a conference tourney.

                                Arkansas vs #23 LSU

The Razorbacks of Arkansas and the LSU Tigers were pitted against each other in the second round of the SEC Tournament. The two were set to due battle in Atlanta, Georgia.

From a very early stage, the Tigers seized control of the momentum. Tack Minor came out of the gate firing, and hit 4 three pointers within the first few minutes. However, his surge was temporarily haulted by two quick fouls. The other LSU starters picked it up in Minor's absense, and held a comfortable 7 point lead going into the half.

The second half was much of the same, as the Tigers never gave Arkansas a legitimate shot to come back. Jonathon Modica did his best Michael Jordan impression, flying high and scoring many, many points. However, it just wasn't enough, and the Tigers put away the Hogs, 92-84.
