Week 10: VS San Diego Chargers

Seahawks Now on a 4 game Win Streak; Defeat Chargers; 37-17

    Week 10
    Seattle, WA

Chris Leak was Mr. Everything in his 3rd NFL start, by throwing a TD as well as catching a TD pass. Leak went 10 of 20 for 127 passing yards en route to a 1 TD, 1 INT day. He also caught a 9 yard touchdown pass from Shaun Alexander, his 2nd TD pass of the year. Leak also ran 8 times for 62 yards, truly a versatile offensive player.

"It was a fun day," Leak said, "Having a day like this is something one can only dream about. I still wish a would have ran for a touchdown to complete the deal."

As well as throwing a touchdown pass, runningback Shaun Alexander ran 16 times for 113 yards and a TD. TE, Jerramy Stevens led the receiving corps with 3 catches for 46 yards and a TD.

The offense put up enough points that forced the Chargers to eliminate the running game and LaDanian Tomlinson's rushing skills.

Defensively, Antrel Rolle was a monster, 3 tackles, 2 interceptions, and a 94 yard interception for a touchdown that officially sealed the victory for the 'Hawks.

Seattle will the Chicago Bears in week 11, and have a pretty easy schedule for the rest of the season.

              GAME NOTES:

              Injured: None
              Key Players:

QB, Chris Leak- 757 Passing Yards, 186 Rushing Yards, 2TD REC

              RB, Shaun Alexander- 690YDS, 6TD
WR, Darrell Jackson- 23REC, 4TD; Team Leader
CB, Antrel Rolle- 7INT; Team Leader

              Injured: SS, Jamaal Brimmer (OUT-Season)
              Key Players:
              QB, Rex Grossman- 73.2QB Rate, 1753YDS, 13TD

TE, Desmond Clark- 46REC; 5th Most in NFL

              LB, Brian Urlacher- 70TCKL, 2SACK, 1INT

Seattle travels to Chi-Town to face the Bears. The Bears have a very good offensive line, ranked 4th in sacks allowed. They will give Rex Grossman valuable time to throw the football. If Seattle's defensive line can cause pressure, and the secondary can cause some interceptions, Seattle should come away with this.

Seattle should win this in a possible blowout.

                  Chicago, IL

Seattle's defense was no where to be found in this horrific game in Chi-Town. After shutting out the Bears in the first quarter, they let a 7 point lead slip to a 31 point deficit.

Chris Leak finished with 183 passing yards on a 16 of 35 completion-attempt ratio. He threw a TD and and INT before sustaining a chest injury in the 3rd quarter, that would make him sit the rest of the game.

Shaun Alexander, who got more carries in the game, finished with 88 yards on 21 carries.

The Bears' QB, Rex Grossman, who was also drafted out of Florida like Leak, had an amazing game. He threw just 13 completions out of 17 attempts, but managed 334 yards and 4 TDs thanks too poor tackling and speedy receivers.

Seattle falls to 7-3 and play Green Bay in week 12, who also stand at 7-3.

After the game, team management and the front office, announced the creation of a new team uniform that will make it's debut in the final week of the season: week 17.
