      Re: My 2005 A's Franchise (MVP 2005)

Well well, well.. the chisox are over with and in dramtic fashion i might add. I'm really starting to understand the technique behind hitting in mvp and it is showing in this game. I wasn't trying to jack everything out of the park like i have in my previous games. this was a great last inning win.

also my news and standnigs are current as of my next day off before the big seattle series i have on this weekend. this should be a very good series with each team owning one win in the season series so far this year.

again comments and feed back are always welcome.

      thank you all for reading.

well this was a big game for us against our biggest division rival at the moment. I think that this journal entry could be one of me most comeplete deepest most organized attempt ever while being on dm. Would love to hear from all of you that read this to let me know what you thought about it.

Great update man. I always follow your dynasty. Are you doing a dynasty or owner mode with the A's?

thanks it is always nce to hear from the fans.. i use dynasty. it took me like 5 mins of trying to set up owners mode and i said NO way. just too involved. i hink it is fine for those who like to sim every game and just wantt o handle the day to day operations of the club but i like to play every game and that is just too much crap to deal with for me..

again thank you for your continued support of my page...

Ok folks keep in mind while reading this and looking at the fielding stats that i use ASSISTED fieldnig and don't use the throw meter. it was a great game up until we seemed to just forgot how to play defense...

any comments or feedback is wellcome..

            thanks for reading all

Ok new game up.. i as a manager blew this one for my team. Well that and i still can't keep my finger away from the swing button. Thanks to a couple days away from the game i'm all out of whack and not centered yet. it will take me a few days to get back into my flow.

anyway just a warning for some strange reason on the new pitching table zeph made for me the era and w-l records come up black on an editor but on my page they come up white .. dont understand it but maybe the good ol zeph miser can figure it out.. anyway...

Well this game with the rangers was as tense and the first two in our season series. I don't think that I'll be breaking any win records or anything this season. I'm just glad my bullpen decided to show up when they did.

thank for the continued support of my page and for all the great readership all.

Ok game two of the rangers series is up and running.. catch it while you can or be left behind cause i plan on putting out the third and final game of the series later today. This was maybe our finest game pitching wise all season long. Harden was right on and Dotel .. well he is going great for me so far.

thank you all for the continued suport and readership of my page

Ok folks second update of the day is up and ready.. it was a great thing.. a sweep of the rangers. my first series sweep of the season. anyway... just a quick note my link to my daily scores is for some reason not working on this one entry.. i checked and reacheck it again and again and it still isnt activating so i just left my off season news section open for those of you that want to see the daily scores.

Next 12 games.. first six games road trip to NY and BOS and then come home to the same two teams to start the home stand... my wining streak might be in jepoardy...

thanks again to all that follow my team and read my page.

any suggestions to improve are always glady taken in.

                      Re: My 2005 A's Franchise (MVP 2005)

battle phase one of this war between us and the yankees is over. it was a great game too bad one team had to lose, but also glad that it wasn't us. lol

Looking ahead to game two i have to take on the big guy... no not david wells or c.c. sabathia... RANDY johnson. So in preperation I played a couple practice games against him this morning before i went to bed and won both.. So I feel pretty confident in going into this next game against him.

Well again thanks to all of you that read my page and follow my team.

any and all comments, feedback are welcome and appreciated.

Two games with of practice in to get ready to face the unit... i thought i could handle what it was he brought to the table. Well whatever game plan i had going in never made it from practice to the actual game.. damn is he a beast. Maybe next time i face him if i have too I'll turn the pitch spped down.. his 90-99 seems to be a great deal faster at 0 than any other pitchers 90-99.

                        anyway... read how it went...

thanks for readiing and for the continued support folks.

well i survived the yankee's, now it is time to go take on the Red Sox. Zito is pitching much better than i expected him too. Would still love to find offense. I'm trying also to understand that not even my real life A's are scoring runs by the bunches or hitting homers at an alarming rate.

Thanks for reading and for supporting the page

As you all know for a while now ive been writing from a managers perspective and doing a game journal style writing.

when i frst started i was doing news paper style writing.

Just would like some feedback and please be as brutally honest as you can.

for those of you that read my page and follow my team do you like how im writing now and would like me to keep it the way it is

                            or......

would you rather me go back to my new paper style writing.

The reason I ask this, to me a very important question is that even though im getting decent amounts of what i hope are readers and not gaukers, the amount of comments and feedback isnt there. what do you all feeel i can do to help you want to leave comments and feed back and such?

again do you like the page how it is?

                            or

should i go back to my beginning roots of newspaper style writing?

thanks for the feedback on this issuse.

Man the boo birds were out in force in boston in thsi game.. man... i thought they were giong to start throwing stuff on the field or something that was off and on of course but very very cool to hear... hard luck harden pitched very well and we actually put some runs on the board in this one...

Thanks for the continued support and the great readership folks.

                                Re: My 2005 A's Franchise (MVP 2005)

Well i will give you all a little insight to my next up date which isnt up yet..

i attempted to go back to my dm beginnings and write from a coloumists pov... but found it too cinfining, and i couldnt allow myself to get into the writing. it felt to constricting. so from the one after that on i will be going back to my more free manager journal style of writing.

sorry if some of you will disapprove of this but i have to be able to write with my own soul and this is the only way i feel i can do it and not feel that im getting burned out by doing so.
