      Re: My 2005 A's Franchise (MVP 2005)

What you are about to read is my first sports page style article. i promise you that no one has touched it or edited it. Every word is my own. Every thought is my own.

I would like as much feedback as you can all give me, good bad or ugly i dont care. I need to know how you all like it. It has been a very long time that I've written this kind of style in a VERY long time.

oh and by the way.. two things..

first my standings are up to and through july fourth my off day.

      sencondly...

dont forget to read the news for both the third and fourth.. i dont remember which day it is but there is a pretty big trade to be seen in there.

oh and there is a new table in town on my page... see if anyone can find it and if you ike it ... thanks to WSYANKS826 for his great work on that and to PREZKOT for his work on my new in game pitcher match up table. (dont worry Zeph yours is still very much in use but had to move it for new style of page)

Thank you all for your continued support and readership of my page.

Now more than every I beg and implore all of my readers for any and all feedback, comments, queestions, suggestions.

and as always my non dm readers can drop me a line at [email protected]

I have to give you major props, you have put alot of time and effort into this dynasty...I'm VERY impressed.

Zito is having a hell of a year.

I will definitely be reading my friend.

Well, my next game is up up and it is pretty good maybe not as good as my last one, but that is due to not writing on it when it happened but sleeping and then writing on it a day later. anyway hope you all enjoy...

              Re: My 2005 A's Franchise (MVP 2005)

Well i've written three "newsie' style articles and it seems as though each one has gone down in quality. I think it is just time to go back to what im best at and letting me speak as myself. I just dont feel my news style reporting is up to the rest of the dm standards.

I just cant seem to find a grove.. this last one that will be posted sometime monday night or tuesay morning just didn't feel write. I had problems even writing simple setences.

so when i post it it will be the last of its kind from me.. Hey i never said i would stay with it. It was more of an experiment. (gone wrong) than anything. I just wanted to see if i could do it again but i cant.

so good or bad im goin back to my journal style writing where im free to express myself openly and honestly and throw some stuff in that i feel that i cant do in article form...

Sorry to have gotten some hopes up just to see them dashed. I really wanted to make this work but it just isnt a good style for me anymore.. im much better when i can free express myself as myself as i write.

Your dynasty looks great. You might want to move up to All-Star w/ some sliders to make it more realistic. There's no way the A's should be beating the Rangers or Angels for that matter.

thanks for the feedback and comments but did you miss my 7 game losing streak All Star level eperiment... ive tried jistics, and a few ohter slider sets on all star and i still cant hit no matter what it is.. i cant ever be patient enough on all star to be successful. I gave it a shot but it just snt for me.

Just like a lot of people here on os... they have tried all star level and have gone back to pro level I'm no different... you have to also realize that This is my very first year wtih mvp or any EA baseball game since the very first triple play back on the sega genisis.

So i think that pro is just right for me with the sliders that im playing on. They are a custom set that someone on DM made that he uses on all star.. i tried them on all star and got killed but i found that they work really well for me on pro level.

Ok this is the third newsie style article on my come back road.. in my own opinion this is by far the worst fo the threee that ive put out. But I will let you my audience decide how it it. They always say that the writer is his own worst critic.

Thanks again for all the support and continued readership.

another game, another update. just three more games to go bevfore the all star break. This last game with the Jays was good but i could have done better if i was WAY more patient at the plate. Oh well there is always tomorrow.

Well the first game of the final series of the first half is over with. I must say that i personally think it is one of my better pieces yet. Hopefully i can continue this upswing in my writing and not suffer any burn out for a very long time to come.

Ok... the second to last game of the first half is done and ready to read. Another pitching low scoring gem. Just one more game until the all star break.

Thanks yeah he has definately been great this seaon so far. I just hope that I dont end up losing him during the second half. that woudl be devistating. I have been lucky and not had to deal with any super insane injury bugs this season. I just hope that continues all the way through the seaosn. I'll have to wait to see if i can continue my current run when the second half starts on a home stand. If i win this first series coming off the break when i play it I will be looking to go to a new slider set.

I've recently even using this latest set of sliders at home in my last home stand and lost 2/3 to Chicago. So i dont know until i play the first home series with the Rangers. Believe me you will all be kept up to date with all things that have to do with my page.

thanks again for the feedback and comments
