    Re: My 2005 A's Franchise (MVP 2005)

Let me preface this with a giant thank you to my guest writer of this article,Fellow DM'er GiddyUPzil. I was having a serious case of writers block after playing this game last night and not trying to write about it until today.

He freely stepped up and asked if he could guest write it and i said sure go for it. Let me tell you, He did a great job. Enough so that I will be allowing him to do four more future games in my schedule... Thise series are as follows

    6/26 SF
    7/10 @ CWS
    7/26 Clev
    7/29 Det

he will make a guest apperance in one game in each of those series. After the great job he did in this one it will be a sheer honor to have him guest arthur any games of his choosing. He chose those four series and he will get one game in each of them.

Thank Giddy for the great writing, and the rest of you for your continued support and readership of my page.

Feedback, comments, suggestions, questons, are always welcome and appreciated. for those non dm members you can send any and all of those to my email at [email protected]

        Re: My 2005 A's Franchise (MVP 2005)

ok.. im back at the helm and i played my first ever chise game on all star using Jistics silders... I actually have to pat myself on the back due to the fact that i took more pitches in this one game than any all of my games that ive played on mvp before.

the outcome of this game was much like the weather outside the stadium through the game.. dark and dank...it was ugly but it was fun...

thank you all for your wonderful continued support of my page and for your continued readership.

any and all feedback, comments, questions, concerns whatever are always welcome and appreciated.

Free swinging is a bitch. Its one of the hard habits to break.

Every blue moon, I'll stay patient and end up drawing around 6-9 walks per game.

thanks Well i didnt make any of the stuff on my site it was all donated from other members on teh site. I'm glad you like my page. I do take a lot of pride in my page and all that i offer on it. I like to think that my page is one of the deepest on DM but there are a few other sites that go above and beyond anythnig i could ever do on mine.

Thanks for the feedback and the continued support.

This is clearly my worst beating that ive suffered since going to All star level. I'm sticing it out. I may change slider sets going forward adn try something new.

I new all star would be a jump but i never expected it to be a suicide leap like this. Not that im coplaining due to my well what was a rather large lead, and i can afford a streak like this.

but it is making it exciting, and like ive said the last few days.. this lead could be gone by the all star break and i wouldn't be surprised if indeed it did happen that i was not in first by the all star break.

we will have to see what happens going forward.

thank you all for your continued support and readership.

Well this time around wasn't as good as the first. Zito wasn't near as sharp as in the first match up between him and Moyer.

Thanks for the continued support and readership.

Well my ALL STAR experiment contunes to be a failure... another game another loss... i just cant get the offense going and i cant get the pitching going... but hey what can you do...

ok well this was my final game on all star level and i think you will CLEARLY see why i decided to go back to pro after this game... it was ugly early and often...

this was also my last manager journal. I think it is time i get back to trying to do articles again. At least see if i can.

That hurts. I have been there. Try Wawasman's sliders. They are very fair. I have taken lumps, and given them as well. Maybe, instead of going down a level, move the CPU hitting sliders down a few notches. Either way, I will keep reading. Good Luck!

Ok my first news style game is up in a long time. This is much better than my first draft i gave to my editor. He called my first draft a TRAIN WRCK.

Also he took all my quotes and created boxes for them as well. If it wanst for my editor this wouldnt be as good as it is. I have him to thank for this.

Thanks for the continued support of my page and for the continued readership.

giong forward i would while im getting my form down on this style again i would appreciate any and all feedback i could get from all of you to make my writing better.

I'm also going forward to try and create a "font page" style to my page. more like the article you would see on the front page of your local papers sports page.

Adjustmenst will be made going forward to make it cleaner in apperance.
