Big win. Way to take home the Ax. Good luck against Ohio State.

Lets go Minnesota. Move up and snag Scott. He wants to stay close to home and play for the Gophers. I just know it.

So I got signed by Alabama. I've always wanted to move back down South.

I assume the Holidays has taken you away from dynasty play as it has me? Looking forward to updates.

Yeah, as most of us know, they are very busy. I hope to get some games played up soon.

So I played the game vs. Ohio State, and I lost, but when it was loading back up, it froze so I think I'm just going to sim it. I don't really want to play it again because I lost in heartbreaking fashion 41-38. I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet.

Okay, so I simmed the Ohio State game and lost 31-13, so that's good in that it keeps the record the same. I will continue the next post with the usual Look Around the League.

Re: Wek 9 - A Look Around the League

So, I'm thinking I might be putting this dynasty on hold for the time being. While I've had playing as the Gophers, I'm thinking that I might start up a new coaching dynasty with the idea of building up a lower program and/or working up my prestige as a coach.

I might come back to this one, but I'm just not enjoying it as much as I was in the beginning. I will probably be making a new one soon.

                  Thanks to everyone for reading.

As one who has done both (playing as your favorite team and building one up) they are both great. Like JL Webb said, I will follow either or both. Enjoy the read.

Appreciate both of your follows. Your dynasties are great also. I have decided on a new one and it will be unveiled shortly. Deuce, I used some of your conference decisions in my new dynasty too. I'll be taking over a 1* prestige school and hoping to build it up.

My plan is for this one to be put on pause for a little bit while I try something new. I think I like the idea of being able to change teams, and I'll be slowing down how fast I am going. I think I was rushing through this one too quickly. So, watch out for the new one.

As I am currently bringing this out of retirement, I updated the front page as I'm on the Michigan game.

I think I played the Michigan State game, but it was so long ago that I forgot what happened. I lost 35-14. I sit at a 5-3 record and ranked #18 in the nation. I'll be back to the regular way I present things after the Michigan game.

                                Week 10 - vs. Michigan

Gophers Capture First Brown Jug in Seven Years!

Marquise Hill (#2) leaps into the endzone to put the Gophers up 28-21 late in the 3rd Quarter.

Even though the Gophers chances of winning a second consecutive BCS National Championship are gone, they aren't done and won't back down in the always competitive Big Ten conference play. The final score doesn't indicate how close of a game this really was. The defense played well as a cohesive unit, and to come back against a team as good as Michigan, well it was a very impressive win. Young Aaron Lester continued to throw many touchdowns (5 today), but also threw 3 interceptions. Marquise Hill had an amazing game hauling in 10 receptions for 269 and 3 touchdowns. He has vaulted himself into the Heisman Race once again. The Gophers rose to #13 in the polls and #10 in the BCS polls. There's a shot of playing in a BCS game if they can run the table which will be no easy task with games @ Northwestern, @ #2 Penn State, and vs. Iowa. They will need to get a better run game going if they want to stand any chance.
