            Game Notes
Both of these teams are coming off of a loss and looking to rebound big in this game. It's going to be tough for the Vandals without their starting quarterback and one of their big play wide outs. For the Aggies, Kenny Turner finally returns and should be able to jump start this running game and their defense is looking to bounce back after an embarrassing performance last week. This is gonna be a big conference game for both teams, with Idaho having the edge on paper.

              B. Adoplho intercepts a pass and takes it 88 yards for six point. The defense harassed Blackman all game forcing two picks, one for a touchdown and another late in the fourth quarter to set up the game winning drive.

              T. Rogers(#1) beats his man and catches a slant route for a touchdown in the second quarter. The offense had a tough time moving the ball, except when it counted.

(#18)T. Stampler kicks the game winning field goal from 23 yards out as time expires, lifting the Aggies to 2-3 and 2-0 in conference play.

This clash between two teams undefeated in conference play is going to come down to which offense can move the ball effectively on the defense. Hawai'i's defense ranks number one in the conference with only 1857 yards allowed their rush defense ranks sixth in the nation. New Mexico State is going to have trouble moving the ball if their offense performs like they did last week, ranking up a mere 200+ yards. But luckily for the Aggies their defense is not far behind the Warriors, New Mexico State's ranks number two in the conference with just 1878 yards allowed and 726 of those came on the ground making their rush defense the 23rd best in the nation.

                          K. Turner(#3) breaks a would be tackle and busts a run for an 82 yard touchdown. Turner finally played up to his potential rushing for 185 yards and a touchdown, but it wasn't enough to come out with a win.

                          D. Savage(#52) sacks B. Moniz(#17) for a seven yard loss. Minus a couple sacks and a solid run defense, the Aggies defense got out match and allowed over 600 yards through the air.

                          M. Williams(#10) catches a six yard pass M. Christian late in the 2nd Quarter. Christian and the pass game did well today day, 234 yards through the air with one touchdown.

                              Game Notes
When the Nevada Wolf Pack go to Las Cruces they will be without some key players on offense. Lampford Mark, who has rushed for 349 yards and four touchdowns in only 55 carries, will be the most missed for his impact on offense. This gives the Aggies a fighting chance against one of the better teams on the west coast, but for them to pull this out the defense is going to have to perform a lot better than last week. Also, the offense is going to have to keep the ball in their possession and Kenny Turner needs to get the ground game going to take some pressure of the defense and the passing game.
