    D. Preston(#9) dives past a defender to catch a touchdown pass on 3rd and goal from the 11 yard line. Preston was named the player of the game for the Aggies after recording 5 catches for 81 yards and two touchdowns.

    J. Green(#1) jumps up and intercepts a J. Heaps pass setting up a quick score for the Aggies, in the 2nd quarter. New Mexico State's defense played the pass very well allowing under 200 yards till Heap hit his tight end for a 75 yard touchdown, but the faltered against the run allowing nearly 200 yards.

    K. Turner(#3) finishes off a three play no huddle drive with a 9 yard rush just off the right side. Turner and the running game never really got on a roll and that is something the Aggies are going to need to work on to finish out the year with two more wins.

        Game Notes
This is a must win game for the coaching staff of the Aggies. They have one of the worst records in the WAC and the defensive coordinator, Dale Lindsey, is starting to feel his seat warm up. However this may not be an easy win, Louisiana Tech has more talent on the team but they have been hit by the injury bug. For New Mexico State they need to get Turner going early to be at least threatening on the ground to open up some easy passes for Christian and company. For Louisiana Tech they need to C. Cameron to take care of the ball and be careful not to throw interceptions and make the Aggies one dimensional by shutting down the running game.

          P. Fils(#48) jumps in front of a C. Cameron pass and picks it off late in the 1st half, setting up a quick touchdown for the Aggies. New Mexico State's pass defense made some plays but didn't play consistent, allowing just under 400 yards and four touchdowns.

          T. Rogers(#1) makes a tough six yard touchdown catch with a defender on his back giving the Aggies the lead 17-14 going into half time. With the lack of a running game Christian took the offense on his back and threw for 321 yards, but it wasn't enough to lift New Mexico State past the Bulldogs.

          K. Turner(#3) takes a hand off and runs up the middle for a 13 yard gain in the 4th quarter. K. Turner and this offensive line just couldn't get anything going on the ground and it showed.

              Game Notes
This is the finally game for the Seniors and both teams would love to send these classes of seniors out with a win. For Utah State the loss of one of their best players to a torn hamstring is really going to hurt their 50th overall rush offense, but they go up against a very shakey pass defense so they won't miss Turbin too much. For New Mexico State they have had a rough season and expect there to be some coaching changes, but for this game they need to get Turner going and let Christian do his thing.

                K. Turner(#3) celebrates after punching the ball in from four yards out to but the first points on the board. Turner would miss the 2nd half with a foot injury and it really hurt the Aggies offense.

                M. Christian(#2) throws a pass to T. Rogers(#1) for a 21 yard gain early in the 4th quarter. The Aggies passing attack could move the ball well but they just couldn't finish off drives in the red zone.

                D. Coleman(#3) sacks A. Kennedy(#2) and forces a fumble that was recovered by Utah State. The New Mexico State defense just could not stop Kennedy and this passing game, allowing 3 touchdowns and almost 300 yards.
